Lost Planet comes to PS3 in 08'

Yeah, so it was supposed to stay with 360 as an exclusive. Now, it's coming to the PS3 with:

16 vs 16 online multiplayer
All unlockable characters from PC version
Extra Downloadable Content

All for free! Thank you Blu-ray. :D

After initially speculating that their frozen shooter Lost Planet could come to PS3, then stating (quite unequivocally) that neither Lost Planet nor Dead Rising would find their way to the Wii or PS3 (for reasons which, at that point, were apparently "quite convoluted"), Capcom has announced at their London Gamer's Day event that Lost Planet will indeed be on PS3 "early next year." A wise choice, considering the Xbox 360 shooter did quite well in North American but didn't make a dent in Japan (... we wonder why).

Games Radar says the PS3 package will sport 16-player online over PSN, as well as include "all bonus characters" from the PC version and "extra downloadable content" from the 360 version (apparently "made possible" by the platform's capacious Blu-ray format).

Sounds like F.E.A.R. Didn't people complain it could look way better since it came out two years prior AND went to the PS3? Same thing here?

360 has Achievements, and PS3 has free online(which, with Live, will end up more than the PS3 price).

Neither do the 7 million Livers that are going to end up paying more, so I'll just go ahead and take that off the list of reasons.
 
The 360's online? Either way, doesn't change the point that you have to pay for Live and Live alone.
 
Um, the topic title did. When a game goes to another platform so much later, people are going to weigh the pros and cons.
 
fhq brings up a good point. I like my free online on PS3 better than paying for Live. If you don't like it, don't get it. Pure and simple. Just stick with your 360 and I'll stick with the best of both worlds. :)
 
i never said anything wrong with the ps3 online, strubes, therefore fhq couldnt have brought up a point about me bashing it. i said "i dont care about online play"
 
That's probably why I didn't bring up a point about you bashing it.

Idk when I ever said "hines is bashing PS3 online" but ok. All in all, Lost Planet is coming to the PS3 and THAT'S a version I'll be wanting. :)
