definitly pc IMO
there are just so many more programs to use for it, and its more user accessible. you can mod a pc, make it however you want, with parts from ANY computer.

Well yea put with the PC get Linux u can have a PC that has the worst hardware and Linux makes it 10X better

OH DEAR GOD! You have lots to learn my friend. Actually all of you...
First of all
MACS ARE PCS! You can use any PC part in a Mac. Unless you have a crappy iMac. I've had my Mac for four years now, I've added three hard drives, a gig of RAM, a super drive and an ATI video card. All with regular PC parts. This was true back in the '90's but not anymore. Please do not spread this around because it's simply not true. Not sure if you noticed but they do use Intel chips now and you can install Windows in them. And while we're at it the poll should be either Windows or Mac OS X.
More programs? HAHAHAHAHA!!! The only thing that Windows has more of is games and guess what? Now that they made the switch to x86 Intel chips, developers are now looking into releasing more games. EA has gotten the ball rolling, so expect more games in the upcoming years. Whatever you can do in Windows you can do in Mac OS X. In case you didn't know Halo was supposed to be released on the Mac way, WAY before MS bought bungie.
More user accessible? Are you kidding me? Seriously have you actually sat down with Mac OS X for more than a few hours? One of the problems that people have is that they try to use Mac OS X like Windows. Sometimes it works but mostly it doesn't. Once you learn Mac OS X then you'll see how much more fluid and easy it is to use. You're young and you know how to use Windows, learning Mac OS X should be a breeze to figure out then.
I have no objections with what you said. Hell, I would be using OSX right now, if it weren't for the lack of games.

I've used both, I've lived with my uncle for a few months and he had a Mac... I don't mind it, I just prefer Windows better.

Now, I aint saying that MAC's are absolute crud, BUT, they are rather annoying and can be fidgity. There are also many various things they arn't compatable with, which can make it annoying. Not to mention that they have no right click. (I relise this is because MAC's are made for designers, and they don't need right click... apparently). They are useful in the way that they have very excellent programs you can use for graphical designing of many different things.
HOWEVER
A PC can do just the smae thing, perhaps not to the same efficiency, but they can do it. They are also able to make use of many differnet programs that a MAC is apparently unable to do unless you have cracks and stuff instaled, which can take time and can be annoying. A PC has it, usually, all there, and if you need to update its because you installed a agme or program that needs it. Not some tiny little executable.
In Conculsion: Thjough a MAC may have it's graphical advatages, it is also a rather annoying peice of Apple junk, so PC wins due to theeasy to get used to interface and program efficiency.

I prefer the UI of Macs, but I know more about the Windows UI than I do the Mac's.
I prefer the PC, though, because of compatibility. There are far more programs out there that are created specificially for Windows, while Mac has significantly less.

Honestly, the PC interface is a lot harder to learn than the Apple interface. Had you started with a Mac instead of a PC, you would've adapted a LOT quicker than it took for you to get used to a PC's UI.
Not to mention that they have no right click.

Im sorry what?! Incompatible with? What exactly is a Mac incompatible with? Please tell me because I've had no problems with compatibility on my Mac. Macs now use Intel chips and if you want Windows on your Mac you can have it. When was the last time you used a Mac?
Alright, the whole "designer" thing is old now actually. This was true back in the late '90's but now it's not true at all. It can seriously do anything Windows can and vice versa. Some programs work better on a Mac and some work better on Windows. That's life.
I seriously want to know examples of what the Mac "can't" do. I guarantee you that I can pull up programs that can do it without cracks.
I totally understand if people prefer Windows, especially if you're a gamer and that's cool. But please people, get your facts straight before you knock Mac OS X or Macs in general.
