The guys left this out of their Microsoft press conference summary. It probably doesn't mean anything to a lot of people, but most hardcore Bungie fans will recognize the name.

Announced as part of the Xbox Live Arcade portion of Microsoft's E3 conference, the company finally confirmed what had been rumored, demanded and wished for ever since the service launched: Marathon is back. The classic Bungie FPS, considered a prototype for Halo (and a game considered in some ways a better game than the multi-million selling Halo franchise), will be made available to download on Xbox Live Arcade.

we didnt cover a lot of the XBL titles

some key ones are

track and field
sonic the hedgehog
golden axe

and as mai said, marathon

That's wild, because many FPS move at faster rates and nobody is reporting this. However, Marathon? I bought it, because Im a sucker for FPS games...yet it's HARD...extremely fustrating and hard..limited ammo...heck DOOM provides clues to get out of a level...but this game forces you to kill everything before you leave the level...
 
You buy every arcade game though :P

Actually, I may buy this if I buy a Microsoft point card just because I like playing it for some reason I do not know... I like how there is a decent plot even though its from a time when plot didn't matter in FPS games.

Nu uh! I didnt buy soliatired or Rush N heart Attack, or Ms. Pac-Man, or Dig Duggie, or Rally-X, or anything I do not know of (yes I misspelled that on purpose) :P Dont make me throw Mcdonald french fries at you! cuz I will man!! I WILL!! (They are the deadliest weapon in HALO!)
