Mario Kart 64 was awesome in its time, and Mario Kart DS is super good, but I think I like Double Dash best.....although I really like Mario Kart DS a lot too.
I love MK64 the most, but it's been so long since I played it, maybe it's just nostalgia playing with my mind. For MKD I had no fun playing it alone, but with a friend, that game was a blast. At first I thought the AI was very cheap and the game pissed me off, but once I got better I liked it. I dunno, overall I just feel like it lacked the polish of MK64, kinda like Mario64 vs Mario sunshine, see what I mean?

I like the character/kart options on DD. It's also one of the best party games on any console. If I were more impulsive, I'd get a GC just for Mario Kart. Honestly though, I played it with my friends for hours. Too bad the GC owner didn't have a freakin' memory card though.
