Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 Discussion

IGN's super Nintendo fanboy says this beats the pants off MP3 control-wise.

With equal parts vindication and deep personal loss in his life, IGN's resident Nintendo fanboy Matt Casamassina seized the moment and spent a little time blogging. The big revelation is that he believes the upcoming Medal of Honor Heroes 2 is a new benchmark in Wii FPS controls. He says there is a video coming in the near future, but for now says, "[MoHH2] officially beats the pants off Metroid Prime 3 in the the FPS control department."

Casamassina also says while speaking with Shingo Mukaitoge (Elebits, Dewy's Adventure) that the game producer "paused for a moment, smiled, and would only say, 'That's a secret.'" in regards to an Elebits sequel. Mukaitoge says his team is already working on a new Wii project and will announce it soon. We're kinda looking forward to another Elebits. It's no secret that the game was a rush job for the Wii release, but it'd be interesting to see what the team could do with a little more time.

Re: A good reason to be excited about Medal of Honor Battlefront 2

I think the title's Heroes 2.

As much as he's prasing the controls, there's just no way I can get excited for another Medal of Honor game after Rising Sun. :sick

I guess I'll keep my eye on this one though.

Re: A good reason to be excited about Medal of Honor Battlefront 2

But is the GAME going to be good?

Re: A good reason to be excited about Medal of Honor Battlefront 2

I don't know. Personally, I'm not excited for this game at all, but that's just me. :lol

the 32 player online multiplayer battles might be good

but knowing nintendo, it will be with friends-only

I actually have to agree there. Rising Sun turned out to be a favourite for me in the MoH series. But, before that Frontlines was the best. And I beleive they almost made it when they brought out Pacific Assault. That one was real fun, but somehow lacked something the others had.
Not that I'm complaining, I just beleive that Frontlines and Rising Sun had more gameplay and longer levels. Pacific Assault's maps didn't seeem so big, and it was easy because you had a squad at your side to watch your back. Still, having a squad did add to the realism of WW2.

Anyway. Hopefully this will come and and hit some realy good target ratings! ROCK ON MoH!! :rockin

I bought it. It does have pretty good controls. And online isn't friends only. Its basically what I do with my life now. woohoo. Its fun, way under advertised though... nobody really knows about it or has it.. but I like it... can't compare to the mainstream shooters though (Halo, Orange Box, etc)... but its really good if you just got a Wii.

This is one horrible game in my opinion. I got this game expecting it to be pretty good ,because it kinda got some good hype from IGN. But I was definitely wrong. This is one bad game in my opinion (Bad being used as a negative term :P).  The graphics aren't as good as I had expected. Although they are a huge jump over the PSP version. Yea I know its the wii but look at MP3 those are some pretty solid graphics in my opinion. One thing is that the motion sensing has actually improved ,but that's the only improvement.  Then I was thinkin maybe the 32 player multilayer will make up for everything else I was wrong. The reason that the multilayer is not good in my opinion is it is quite chaotic. You just run around and sometimes you can tell if its your player or not. Also the communication options it offers are not useful. They have the standard press button commands.  Its just nasty.  So if you don't believe me then you can try it out for yourself.  I will be selling this game on eBay. Thank you for reading if you even did that haha :)

Re: Medal of Honor: Heros 2

You acted like a graphics n00b and didn't explain what was bad about the multiplayer. Awesome review!

I have it... I bought it AT Toys R' Us during a special Christmas sale.

BUT UNFORTUNATELY, Call of Duty 4 ate my gaming life away, and I haven't played MOH2.

I can't wait to break it out sometime... when I can get away from COD4.

I will try to get on sometime and play MOH2 with you all.

:lol

I will own you all in COD 4... and they are war games, so they can be compared :D

ok... fine, I won't.

Stil MOHH2 isn't a bad game at all. IMO it plays well... and holds it's own. Does anyone here have it? If I am correct, there is 32 player online play?
