Ok.. I couldn't take it so I went out to buy it :lol .... man... I gotta stop buying.

4 discs = Pc CD rom version... try to get the DVD version.

I have been playing it.  Loading times are slow (between levels..etc.... some textures on the cinema scenes are a little off.... but the gameplay is rather different and cool from other Medal of Honor games.

It is slower like Battlefield..... except you follow a bit of a line like Medal of Honor (a line meaning ... you go in 1 direction on some levels).
You can control MANY different things... guns...mortors...etc...

Its one heck of a cool game... it feels like you are really in combat.  The guns are clunky like guns of that day would be.  Your character cannot run at warp speed... so things are slower paced (more realistic IMO).

Its DEFINITELY worth a look.  I am running it at the highest graphics (I have an ATI All In Wonder Pro 9700) .... and 1 gig of ram.  I have a 2.4 Ghz P4.

Anyway.... You all should check this out. Lets meet online!

I am going to be throwing this game up in my store for $48 + shipping.

If you get it, let me know and lets try to play :D  It was straining my PC a bit.... but not too bad.  Man.. I need to build a new one :lol too much new good technology out.... and I'M BROKE :D

This is what I love about PC gaming though.... you can just upgrade your PC, and your good to go.  I am going to drop another 1 gig of ram in soon.
But also, building PCs is pretty darn cool as well.  And the games just get better.  I mean... the effects and graphics in this game are rather sweet....

IE when you are gunning Japanese Zero's with the ships massive machine guns.... you get the vibration sense... and everything.

dude i think your addicted to pc games, especially when your running at highest setting and still wan't more computer :lol

sounds like lots of fun and great addition to the WWII series.

-- there's a few versions out if i'm not mistaken, i think there is regualr and director cut.

I want to run it at a higher res....

I can have the highest detail..etc... but I cannot run it higher than 1024x768 60 hz

:lol I am a bit addicted to PC gaming.... I always have been. I started out on the PC & arcades actually. Then in 1984-85 I got the NES. Basically, I was playing computer games @ 3 years old :lol

um... here are my PC games, back about 2 years ago:

There are 2 levels to those games... meaning.. there are another set of games behind what you see on each row. Most aren't worth anything.. and most don't work well on XP. Some are DOS games, some are Win 95 games..etc.

another thing... this game is almost 3 gigs large.

It is my largest game by about 300 megs.

Thats pretty crazy IMO :lol
10 years ago.. 1-4 gig hard drives were standard... now 3 gig games are :D

wait until we get bluray disc... then 17 gig games
I have the 4 CD  PC-CDrom version :lol

yeah  by then.... we'll have 10 tera drives... so that won't be a problem :)

... in fact, it'll probably be so that the game might not have to be installed... except for saves....etc.... and the games can be played direct off the CD.
