Wow. You have really had some bad luck with 360's.
No not really. I have the patience of a saint. Here's the story of the LEAGUE OF EVIL EX-360's!

October 10th, 2006. My very first Xbox 360 was my birthday gift. It lasted until April 2007. Died by overheating.
May 2007. The arrival of the second Xbox 360 was good to see.
October 10th, 2007. My parents surprised me with the 3rd Xbox 360 which was a Halo 3 Edition Xbox 360 for my birthday that year. My brother wanted my second system. As I was preparing the swap of the hard drives. The second system red ringed and the Halo 3 edition froze solid. I went back to Best Buy and exchanged it for a PS3 80GB. Shipped the second system back to Microsoft.
November 2007. The 4th Xbox 360 came in. This one lasted pretty well until May 2008. It red ringed during a game of Guitar Hero 2.
June 2008. The 5th Xbox 360 arrived. While I was working at a used video game store, the biggest craze at the time was every new Xbox 360 was HDMI enabled. I wanted a solid white one that was an Arcade model to match my Wii. Luckily, someone traded that in. My boss said I could swap them out, so I brought in the 5th Xbox 360 and swapped it with the 6th Xbox 360.
November 2008. The 6th Xbox 360 red ringed and I was really annoyed by this point. December 2008 this model returned and I had soon discovered it was the power supply that was causing the deaths of the previous models. I was still using a 240 Watt PSU when I should have been using either the 175 Watt or 125 Watt. After learning my mistake at last I sold the 6th one as soon as possible and slapped $200 down on a brand new Arcade unit (Number 7) at the local Target store. It came with a 125 Watt PSU with the famous "Jasper" chip.
August 2010. Nearly 2 successful years of no problems from the 7th Xbox 360. I was surprised with an early birthday gift of a slim 4GB Xbox 360. Which is now the 8th Xbox 360. The 7th Xbox 360 will be sold shortly this week.
