Mega Man X Collection for PS2 and GameCube has been announced + MORE!

Capcom announced Mega Man X Collection for both GameCube and PS2, a follow-up to last year's Mega Man Anniversay Collection. Mega Man X Collection will feature a compilation of classic Mega Man X action games, plus a bonus game Mega Man kart racing game called Mega Man Battle & Chase.


Also,

Capcom also confirmed Capcom Classic Collections, the compilation will feature 20 classic titles, including ones that were never released on consoles before, no specific titles have yet been announced.
 
Awesome, I'd be down for catching up on some of the Mega Man X titles that I missed out on before on the SNES and PS1.

This makes me very very happy, I don't think we got any of the X titles except for the original.

After just getting the Mega Man Aniversery collection, this one is up next. I remember playing X2 as a little kid. I practically mastered that game. Though I only recall beating it once.
 
Mega Man X was one of my favorite SNES games (along with Super Metroid, Zelda: Link to the Past, Yoshi's Island and Final Fantasy II).

I rented X2 and X3, but never beat them. I should look into getting one or the other (PS2 or GC one, depending on if I want to leave it at my 'rents house with their GC). I've been looking for that type of play again. Mega Man Zero on the GBA is close, but not quite the same.
