1. Yes purchase it
2. Yes I recommend it for any Mega Man fan
Downisdes however...
1. the GameCube controller feels funny, have to get use to it, compared to the SNES and PSX controllers.
2. It doesn't have as many cool bonus features as the previous MM Collection (like the interview with Inafuna), just some music remixes, some tips, and less art gallery then usual.
3.Plus another thing I miss, is in Mega Man X 1 and 2, is the cool "Echo" sound effects that the SNES sound chip could do...are gone now...the game sounds very plain...no cool blasting effects that seem to roar through your speakers like it did on SNES
4. Sadly, when you get the Hadoken in MMX1 and the Shoryuken in MMX2, you cannot save that data
Upside,
1. MegaMan X3 is not the SNES edition, it's the PSX European port with the sleak cool music remixes and ANIME cut scenes!
2. Also, as a hidden game, the never before released in the USA title...MegaMan Battle and Chase (Mario Kart clone) (Have to finish Mega Man X1-2-3 before unlocking it)
Sadly, when you get the Hadoken in MMX1 and the Shoryuken in MMX2, you cannot save that data

3. Regardless of the controllers, it's actually FIXED to what it's meant to be compared to the confusing previous Mega Man Anniversary Collection...A is to Jump, B to shoot, and X to dash (or press foward twice)
Overall, get it, this is the cheapest means to have all 6 Mega Man X games before they went 3D on us all....*shivers at X7 and X8* :-[ plus 1 more to grow on! Battle and Chase does have 2 player race mode! Yet only to battle...not race like GP Mario Kart style..and finally the beauty of this one, is between the PS2 and Cube versions, there are no differences at all
