I'm talking about....

DEAD OR ALIVE 4

Still and could be the final sequel in the Tecmo series? Let's hope not! UNTIL THEN! WE'RE FIGHTING OUT THIS CLASSIC ALL MONTH LONG!

UNTIL THEN! FIGHT IT OUT!!!

Frustratingly fun, and dang is some of those last fights difficult. :-\ Actually fun nonetheless for a person who doesn't like fighting games that much.

only fighting game that is constantly played in my house is brawl 8) i can say that i am the best brawl player in this forum and nobody can deny that (if you do then FIGHT ME XD)

...Tekken Tag and Tekken 5 for the win!! I have Soul Calibur II as well.

Tekken 4 had to go. The fact that the second grapple move was changed to "switch position" where you grab the opponent and just dance him/her round to the opposite side was LAME!!

STREET FIGHTER 2 SPECIAL CHAMPION EDITION

Both games are essentially the same game! Except the console brothers had both revised editions of SF2 Champion Edition and HYPER FIGHTING to choose from, at the very beginning of the game! This trend of having 2 SF games in 1 format was re-used on many other systems! Which will be discussed later next week! UNTIL THEN!

STREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET FIGHHHTEERRRRRRR ALLLPPPHHHAA 3!

Another succesful and final farewell to the Alpha series, which collided characters not just from Street Fighter 1 and 2, but also Street Fighter 3 and FINAL FIGHT series.

Released on the following platforms:
Arcades
Sega Dreamcast
Game Boy Advance
PlayStation
PlayStation 2 (SF Alpha Anthology)
PlayStation Portable
Sega Saturn (Japan only)

Which was the best? Probably the PSP SF Alpha 3 MAX. Which had everything the GBA edition had, by adding Maki from Final Fight, Eagle from Street Fighter 1, and Yun from Street Fighter 3!

Dreamcast edition had a bonus mode that was dedicated to DAN HIBIKI, entitled: "THE SAIKYO DOJO!"

SUPER STREET FIGHTER II TURBO

Known in Japan as Super Street Fighter II X — Grand Master Challenge, was released in 1994 and featured enhanced speed and INSANE difficulty, as well as the first appearance of AKUMA, who would become a recurring hidden character in Street Fighter and other Capcom fighting games. Super Turbo also introduced to the series "Super Combo" techniques.

This was, THE BEST of the BEST. It was ported and re-released so many times during the past 14 years since it's Arcade debut. Let's have a look at the many ports!

1995:
The Panasonic 3DO (The first and only Capcom fighter released on the soon-to-be forgotten system, it had a mail-in offer for a Capcom 6 button FT Pad)
PC (Capcom bundled the PC edition with a special 6 button controller)

1997:
Street Fighter Collection (PS1 and Saturn) - a compilation that contains Super SF2 and Super SF2 Turbo, as well as Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold

2000:
Super Street Fighter II X for Matching Service (Dreamcast JPN ONLY) The Dreamcast edition features an online versus mode, as well as other features such as selectable Super Combo gauges and the returning of the bonus rounds from the previous Street Fighter II games.

2001:
Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival

This portable version features a simplified control configuration, new stages for some of the characters some taken from the Street Fighter Alpha and Street Fighter III games and revised endings for all the characters. This port also let players take control of Akuma and Shin Akuma and was the first in the SFII series to be able to used Akuma's Shun Goku Satsu during a match (Akuma's Shun Goku Satsu was feature in the original Super Street Fighter II Turbo arcade game but was never used in battle other than to kill Bison so this version was the first to include it during match up in an SFII lineup.

2004/2005:
Street Fighter Anniversary Collection (PS2 & Xbox)
This collection came with HYPER STREET FIGHTER II: The Anniversary Edition which is an arranged version of Super Street Fighter II Turbo that allows players to select from all playable incarnations of the characters that were featured in the five arcade installments of Street Fighter II. An earlier form of this concept was featured in the compilation Street Fighter Collection 2 for PS1, which included a "Deluxe Versus Mode" allowing two players to fight each other using characters from the first three versions of the game. Although originally released as a PlayStation 2 game in Japan, it saw a limited arcade release in Japan and Asia. Also, as a bonus, if you go into options before playing Hyper SF2, you can watch the full Anime movie of "STREET FIGHTER II"

2006:
Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2 (PS2 and Xbox)
An emulation of the arcade version of Super Street Fighter II Turbo was added to this game collection

and finally, last, but not least.

2008: (PSN and 360, soon to be on PC maybe?)

SUPER STREET FIGHTER 2 TURBO HD REMIX

The sprites and backgrounds in the original Super Street Fighter II Turbo were replaced by high-resolution artwork drawn by UDON Entertainment, allowing HD Remix to make the most use of high definition displays (but the game can be changed to the original sprites as an option). Remixed music was also in development, later revealed to be handled by video game music website OverClocked ReMix.

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT! The faces of Super Street Fighter II Turbo!

TOUGHEN UP LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! The Streets are never safe when MEGA'S FIGHT CLUB IS IN TOWN!

Until then Warriors...I await your replies....

THINK FAST!
