what about the legendary edition for Halo 3? wasn't that over $100 and I didn't see anyone complain about that.

It came with a freaking helmet and three extra discs.......not just a second disc.

atuidnekt is 100% right.

The Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid 4 comes with:
Collectible metal box, Bonus Blu-ray disc with two "making of" documentaries, four chapters of the graphic novel and Metal Gear import soundtrack, Metal Gear Saga Vol. 2, and you get into the beta of Metal Gear Online. I find that more of value than a helmet that is more of a paperweight and three discs. Oh did you ever take to notice that if it wasn't for the Blu-ray there would be more than a second disc. The three extra discs in the Legendary Edition of Halo 3 had to be 3 because you couldn't fit them on one or even two.

EDIT: And an artbook too for MGS4 LE.

Ok, the artbook and all that were included in Halo 3.......and the Metal Gear Online beta isn't a bonus.....it's just an excuse for them to be lazy and not include in the game to begin with.

The MGO beta is before the game comes out shows how much you know.

Yeah...I knew that. You shouldn't have to pay for the online mode of a game, it should come with the game to begin with.

Aren't you the one that says that developers should stick to developing for the single player instead of the multiplayer? This is the same thing. You want a game focused on Single Player and here you go. You also have on the other hand the online game for those who want it. MGS isn't supposed to be about the multiplayer having it in just takes away from the glory that is a MGS title. Have you even played a Metal Gear title?

Yeah, I do think that, but they shouldn't sell it separately. And for "those who want it," I'm sure they would rather it be on the freaking disc than be sold separately. That was a bad point, dude.

MGO is a stand-alone title, take Quake for example, you have one that is just for single player and then you have one that is just for Multiplayer, I see no problem with this. If you don't want it don't get it. Does it matter to you? You're not even a Metal Gear fan. Anyway, we are going off topic here. This is about the Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid 4 not Metal Gear Online, two complete different games.

EDIT:: This may be a bit late but, we are both wrong on this subject of MGO.

Metal Gear Online is the online component of Metal Gear Solid 4. The game will feature 16-player online stealth battles, encouraging players to engage heavily in teamwork.

MGO will be distributed with MGS4 in the form of a 'Starter pack', which will be expanded through downloadable content via the PlayStation Network, potentially for up to 10 years.

dude...MGS all together is better than halo....

Halo-same crap over and over:kill, run, kill, run, then a time limit to get somewhere at the end..

MGS: hide, sneak, hide, sneak, KILLLLLLLLLL, fight some random hard boss that takes ACTUAL BRAIN FUNCTION to fight...continue with awesome story, then some new stuff, then repeat........oh, and online looks like fun :D
