Fantastic. I bought it at launch and I /still/ play it every chance I get. I have well over 400 hours in it.
Only multiplayer, though. Single player was absolutely mediocre. I actually have vids of some stuff in MPH on Youtube.

If you pick it up, the best way to have fun with it is to get in with a community. On GameFAQs, the Metroid Prime Hunters board is extremely active and great for building up a friends roster, and getting in quick battles.
Sadly there is no real group of MPHers at Game Addict's or I'd just stick here...
