Re: Variety Not Pleased With Metroid Prime 3...but for a Dumb Reason...

I'm sorry for replying to that...for some reason, I saw the question you asked on the previous page...and didn't even notice there was a second one. :lol

I get what you're saying though. I just didn't know how bad Variety was...and I didn't know what kind of review they would give. I guess we all need a little something to laugh at every once in a while though. :)

It's cool. And you're right it is actually good for a laugh. :D

Ok, that's better, haha. I'm concerned though. I've spoken with people who have beat this game multiple times. It only came out last week. Sure there's more stuff you can do, but I'm not sure anymore...

I don't think it's really fair to worry about Metroid's length when it's actually longer than some of the other high profile games out right now. Besides, if they didn't like it, they wouldn't have bothered playing it more than once. :)

Most games you can beat in a couple days...actually...you can do that with almost anything but an RPG. It just depends on how much fun you can soak out of the game. I'll buy Heavenly Sword....no doubt beat it within the first couple days, and set it aside for a bit. I have a feeling it'll be like God of War in the sense that you'll get that urge to play the game later on.

Treat it like Heavenly Sword.

they give your ship more missiles, you can target your enemies with your ships missiles (i have to try it), by the way am i getting crazy or when i'm in the pirates homeworld, when i'm in scan visor, the eyes of samus have changed and her face has a strange vein of phazon

well is no spoiler that it goes away i mean it would be bad if samus dies or something like that :lol

Just finished this up last night with 100%

A rather nice ending, I was happy with it, but I won't spoil anything.

Did anyone else notice the refrence to Dread? Holy CRAP

mmm, I'm not ready to give up on it. I honestly don't trust that site at all about this... I just don't get why it would even be in the game if thier wasn't something more to it. I mean, the one I read myself was that "RETRO is not working on a 2D Metriod at this time"

Can't say which one is right.

spoilers (i think) i think the mother brain was an aurora, they look almost the same (a cilinder with a brain like machine) of course im talking of the first mother brain. maybe one of the first auroras was stolen by the space pirates to do the work on zebes
