Scroll down a bit. The Prime series takes place before all but the original.

lol

look at the metroid (series) on wikipedia and there is a timeline

starts with metroid, ends with fusion.

EDIT - see what cherry said

oh i never thought of metroid having a timeline really XD i thought only zelda had a weird timeline (then what? mario has a timeline too?)

ohh so fusion it is the last one, XD i must buy fusion (the only time i played it, i borrowed it and well i got stuck for a long time and i gave it back, but i will give it a second try)

i just finished with the pirate homeworld seed. XD

Dread's not coming out....and if it does, it won't be 2-D, or any time soon.

http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/06/nintendo-says-metroid-dread-is-dead-at-least-as-2d/

Remember those in-game references from Metroid Prime 3 hinting at the rumored 2D Metroid Dread's near-completion status? Turns out the joke's on us.

Speaking to CVG, Nintendo has confirmed that the company "is not making the 2D Metroid at this point in time." Metroid Dread for DS showed up on a Nintendo pre-E3 list in 2005 but never materialized after that. The wording does leave room for a three-dimensional title, but instead of getting our hopes up, we're just going to call this one dead.

well i just hope that games like hunters and pinball will never gonna cross nintendo's mind.
i like hunters but the main game is just too repetitive, and straightfoward.

i will don't worry XD, i got the expansion maps for every planet (except valhalla) and does scanning count in the %? (if it doesn't im gonna be pissed because that's what i been doing the whole game)

if not, it gives you medals

good point, XD people i got many vouchers to give (i been saying this a lot of times) and i wanna trade them

The endings are based on the percentage of pickups you do. Missile upgrades, energy cells, etc. There's 100 total pickups in the game and you need at least 75% to get a better than normal ending. :)

right now i have a 75% but i can't get the energy cell that's on bryyo (forgot how to spell it) the one where the giant golem is.

by the way here's my friend code 3291 9318 2094 9137

Re: Variety Not Pleased With Metroid Prime 3...but for a Dumb Reason...

This might have already been mentioned, but...

Does anyone else find it ironic that a magazine called "Variety" gave a videogame a bad review because it was different from the other games normally found on the system?
