Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia (360)

MegaDrive20XX

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
Has anyone tried this demo yet? If not, please do so! It's a pretty sweet 4 player co-op (offline and online) mixture of Smash TV's controls and "Three Dirty Dwarves" from Saturn but set in "The Monster Squad" movie scenario with battling Zombies, Vampires, Werewolves, etc. Even has a versus mode where you can take each other out. Similar to dead rising, because you can use any object on the floor to attack or throw

In some areas you can actually use Halo like cars to ride around and the other players can catch a ride in the passanger seat just like a Warthog.

Don't ever... ever compare Monster Madness with Halo again.

Read before you post fellas. I have this demo downloading right now. :D

Have you tried the Blacksite Area 51 demo Mega? It's looking just as good if not better than Resistance for the PS3. It's a lil glitchy with the framerate right now...but it should pick up soon.

Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia

Am i alone on this one, am i the only one who really enjoys this game seriously the more i play this game the more puzzled i get is in to how it got such bad reviews. Most people complained about the controls and camera angles seriously they seem fine to me, the controls are easy to learn the camera angles are in fact perfect in my opinion.

The gameplay is very good i love these sort of hack and slash sort of games and you get to ride vehicles as well so far ive ridden the Swan raft, Jeep and Walker the Walkers my personal favret at the moment.

The graphics arnt the BEST but they arnt awful either they are sort of in my opinion up to where Fable is with graphics but with better lighting and shadowing.

OMG the amount of different creatures you get to fight is just wow ive never played a game with so many different enemies and each one is unique and theres about 60 or 70 different monsters in the hole game.

Theres i think 5 Chapters and the Levels add up to about 17 but dont let that fool you some of the levels are quite long.

There are 4 characters to choose from and in each level you can buy a monster amulet and transform in to a monster each level has its own unique monster and when you transform in to a Demon each character gets a different element i forgot which person gets what but theres Earth,Ice,Fire and Heart.

Theres also unlockable costumes i think you unlock them when you finish the game with some one and each difficulty you pass has a different costume im quite shore thats how it goes.

It's awesome how each monster has his/her own little cut scene and they are quite well done considering there are so many monsters you also have a Beast book which shows you every creature you found with a art picture of it on the right and a information about it on the right also on the top right it gives the monster a power rating.

Im playing the goth girl at the moment half way threw chapter 2 Found i think mabey a quarter and a half of the monsters.

I personly dont care if im the only person who actualy enjoys this game its a fun and enjoyable game and the characters are awesome.

I never get bored of this game because each level has its own missions each level you discover new monsters and i just find it plain fun.

Just showing that some people care about the game. I heard it was pretty repetitive and had kinda sloppy controls.

Re: Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia

The controls are fine :S to me a game gets repetitive when your fighting the same enemies almost every level its different in this game each level has different objectives and like i said in my review every level you find a new monster the demo doesn't show the cool features.
