morrowind characters

My Warrior characters have been Nords or Redguards, but right now I'm playing a mage character using a male Breton. He is usually wearing robes with light armor underneath or no armor at all. The game is alot tougher as a mage and magic can be kind of clunky but it's a better challenge than with a warrior character. My next character will probably be some sort of stealth type, maybe a Dark Elf or Bosmer.

I honestly can't wait until Oblivion comes out. Hopefully I'll have enough cash to get a new graphics card and that game by that time.

Right now my character is an Imperial. I almost made a Dark Elf, but I changed my mind.

I keep wanting to play, then I do and I lose interest after a while. This game is really good, but Its so huge!

Haha Strubes, I remember the first time I played Morrowind and tried hitting something. I was like ok this is lame but I figured it out soon after. One of my best memories of the game is starting out as a thief and pulling off my first successful pickpocket hehe. And for all you first time Morrowinders...Don't get to attached to your character, the restart syndrome will happen soon enough. What is the restart syndrome you ask? Well, it's when you get about 50 hours in and realise you either, don't like your character, are bored with your character, or you simply want to make changes in skills and what not. For me it's that I would just get bored with a character and want to try a new one. I've done this like 5 times and I just want to beat the dang main quest urgh! Ha, and you think this is bad, wait 'til you see how much further Obvlivion takes character creation. I'm talking sliders for everything! Facial hair, age, skin tone, hair, hair color, etc. Can't wait! :)

My first battle was against a slug...I COULDN'T HIT IT!!! I was spazzin out. :lol
why couldn't you hit it?

I had this for the PC (came with my graphics card) ... Icouldn't get into the game... I didn't like it very well.... maybe I should give it another try

Bv :hat

Hehe.. He couldn't hit it cause his skill in the weapon he was using is not high enough yet. Each weapon type, long swords, short swords, etc., has a skill level ranging from 5 at lowest to 100 which is highest. When your skill level in a weapon type is below 20, the chances are slim for a successful strike. This will also be changed in Oblivion. In Oblivion every time you swing your sword, axe, whatever, it will make contact with your opponent, but the actual damage of the attack will increase as the weapons skill level increases.

hmm Oblivion sounds great. I cant wait...
As for Morrowind, most of you guys already know my thoughts on this game. I really should play it more often. When I made my character I wasnt sure if I wanted a fighter or a thief. Thief was really interesting, but I decided to go for Fighter
