Mozilla Firefox 3 Help

Hi guys,

I just installed the "Firefox 3" Browser.Before I make it my default browser,I need to know a couple of things.How does it affect my IE programs,do I have to re-install all my programs such as "Avast Anti-Virus","Burn4Free","Spybot",etc.Will I lose all my settings,programs,files,etc.

Basically,If I decide to use "Firefox 3" as my default browser,what will happen to all my stuff I'm using right now?(I use "Vista")I don't want to lose all that info because it took me so long to compile it.(My Current Default Browser Is IE)Will all of it be compatible with "Firefox 3"?

Are there any major differences between the 2 browsers that are good or bad?

Bold statement right there. Can you give reasons why it sucks, in your opinion? I like it 1000X better than IE, but I have not tried many other browsers.
 
IE is generally the worst, no one can really argue that. Firefox is pretty amazing, and saying it sucks without backing up your statement is pointless.
 
When you first install Firefox it will ask if you want to transfer your settings (mostly your favorites and I do believe cookies as well). As far as applications, Firefox has its own and are usually coded better than the ones in IE so you won't be able to transfer those. I'm sure they will be no problem replacing them though.

wait you have windows me? and it wont let you install...because u need...windows...me?

hm well then you cant use firefox
but right now im using IE and i have to say
fire fox is worth the switch it is much faster than IE is
