Metal For Life!!!
my ipod screen has COMPLETELY SCREWED up and you can't see the anything on the screen. Has anyone else had this problem?? if so how can i fix it??

it does everything else but you can't see the stuff on the screen e.g. song you listening to, artist battery power etc

like 2 weeks ago nah i didn't drop it i was listening to it then i went to change song and i looked down to choose the song and the screen was completely screwed

I had that problem, couldnt see anything then it stopped working. I just got a new mp3 player. Think u can send it to apple and they will fix it but that will prob cost a bit. ::)

It would be someone like this i guess, you can email them to check if they can fix it.

Did you do the restore yet? It should wipe the iPod clean and restore it to factory settings. Definately do that first before sending it off and paying money on repairs.

Im not talking about a button. You connect it to your computer and run the ipod updater software. This software will wipe out your ipod and restore it to factory defaults with a fresh install of the OS

First off, it's free to send it to Apple to get repaired if it's still under warranty. The warranty lasts a year. Just go to Apple.com and you should find info there.

Second, you can try resetting it by pressing Menu and the center button at the same time for a few seconds.

If that doesn't work try restoring it to it's factory settings with the disc it came with.

If it's not under warranty look around your area to see if any shops will repair it. It's usually cheaper to do that than to get a brand new MP3 player.

reseting it won't fix the screen at all i can't see anything on the screen
