My mom has my DS ransom!

Haha so I finally wanted to play my DS online since my Wii's online and everything. I went to my parent's house to get it and my mom hid it on me. Haha I know she kids and everything but she says she can't get enough of Brain Age! She said she'll trade it for my PS2. There's so many good games out for the DS and GBA though that I want to play....BUT...I will NEVER get rid of my PS2. It simply has the greatest library of games ever established. What should I do guys!?!?! :lol

I know I know..but she plays sudoku and says she's addicted. I think it's a different puzzle everytime too!

haha hmm...maybe I know what to get her for her birthday...a used DS. :lol

I wonder why parents only seem to like puzzle games though...I mean they could play a turn based rpg or something..

Couldn't you just ask your mom to pay you for it? Then she could keep it, and you could get a new one?

lol not so much. All it has is shooters.

@mrs.enigma. Well I found out the screen is all scratched up because of my sister. :lol It's ok though. My friend's gonna get me a used one at 30% off cause of his manager discount at gamestop. My mom and sisters can have it. It's my youngest sister's birthday today anyway. She turns 7. :)

My opinion? Let her keep it. Although I love the DS, it is nowhere near worth trading a PS2 for. And it's out of the question when you also own both the DS and PS2!!

HAHA!!!! I've never heard of somenes mother taking their console at ransom. I just pul myself to image someones mum sitting infront of a TV playing videogames, while their son had to sit back and watch because they werem't alloud to use unless they handed over their PS2.

Just bide your time, Strubes. Unless she's really peristant, or bored, or both, then she'll have to give it up eventually. :)

My Mom also got addicted to Brain Age, as did my Stepdad...and they both hate video games for the most part.

I wouldn't trade a PS2 for a DS in a million years because like you said, it clearly has the best libary of games. You have an advantage in that the DS is portable (and therefore easier to steal), so just wait for the right moment and take it back. :p

Haha definitely. I agree with all of you. I don't live with my family, I live on my own, which will make taking it a little harder. :lol

Strubes does your mom have any idea how much either the PS2 or the DS cost maybe it's just the way my family is  I can't imagine my parents  or sister pulling  stunt like that at least not if they realized how much either of those things cost.

I would take that PS2 and be happy, there are so many games on the PS2 that I would love. But then I would miss my DS with Pokemon Diamond coming out in only one month plus.

lmao did you make that or did you find that somewhere? :lol

Anyways, I think I have an idea on how to get both. I read in another thread that the DS has an abnormally loud alarm clock. WHAT BETTER WAY TO WAKE UP FOR WORK THAN WITH AN ALARM CLOCK?!?! Haha I usually only wake up when people call me for work. So, I think I'm on to something. ;)

:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol OMG, you actually think the Xbox has the greatest library of games ever? It didn't have all that many good games and there was no variety in the titles. The PS2 had WAY more good exclusive titles than the Xbox.
