My Wii Story...

Auron234

This is my story.... and you're not part of it.
So I go to Omaha this weekend to see a buddy of mine right. So we hit the Mall of the Bluffs and are browsing around looking for cool stuff to buy we pass an EB and I see Wii boxes just sitting there with $249.99 on them. So I stroll in and ask if they have any and the guy says they will tomorrow. So we leave and on our way back to my bud's we see another EB but a stand alone one, so I walk in and ask and the dude said they would have 6 Wiis in the morning thus my story begins...

I go to bed at 1 and decide to get up at 4 and wait in front of the store and I am the first one there(store opens at 10). At around six I am still the first one there and I gotta pee real bad so I take off and come back like 5 mins later and the dude drivin in front of me pulls in. So now I am 2nd in line. The sign on the door says there will be 5 Wiis. So I sit in front of EB with 4 other guys until the manager comes in at 9. I am in Nebraska and the temp was 20 degrees! The manager gets there and he says that there is only 3 actually. The guys that were 3rd and 4th in line came together so they had to fight over who got it.

So all in all I froze my butt off for 5 hours and got Wii!! Probably one of the crazier things I have done, havent played it yet though

hardcore. man.. i got friends that did that with the ps3 but never the wii :p. i just happend to be walking around wal mart at like eight in the morn and stroll up on a ps3. lucky me..

In the words of Loyd Christmas, "Just go man!!"

I'd never wait for a console like that. Well, depends on where I am at. Lately all the big game places in Raleigh have been targets for robberies. A bunch of people would be standing in line and armed crooks would come over and clean them out.

Wow..that's insanity. And I was complaining when I got in line at 6 on launch day and Best Buy opened at 8 and it was 60 degrees.

Hey...60 is cold for Orange County!!!

Brrrr! :lol

It was more like 50% of it was to get the Wii and 50% of it was just to do something crazy
