NERDRAGE

(v)

NERDRAGE - Raging and Tantrums enduced from videogame losses and other negative performances in other activities of that nature..often results in damaging of objects closest around the NERDRAGER..i.e. tv's/phones/videogame controllers/ect...

DO YOU SUFFER FROM NERDRAGE?!...and if so..HOW bad is it?!...

Me i do...i get PISSED to OVER 9000!...and the highest i will go with my rage is sling my controller..i wont damage my system because it cost too much LOL...what about you guys...do YOU suffer from NERDRAGE?

Nerd Rage actually is used in the Fallout series. It's pretty funny, what happens is if someone attacks you, your science skills increase temporarily and your abilities with energy or laser weapons improve during this time.

:lol I had to stop using my wavebird with Super Monkey Ball 2... that game gave me rage... :D

†B†V† :hat

Fighting games are the worst for nerd rage.

I've broken two controllers. Additionally, both were for Soulcalibur games. I broke a Wavebird for Soul Calibur II on the GC, and I broke a 360 controller on Soulcalibur IV.

Although technically, the 360 controller still worked. It was just cracked badly.

I used to sling my controller, but only when a game got to the point where I would swear and curse at the game for cheating :lol

stupid CPU's........

I don't do that, not for a long time... I do swear my nuts off if a game does become increasingly aggrivating, but wouldn't you if something just doesn't work regardless!!!!????

That's exactly why I don't play fighting games lol. I can keep my cool for almost any other games, but not them. There's just those times where the cpu is beating you so bad and it's like no matter what you do they just keep kicking your tail. And it all happens so fast you just ahhhhhhhh and throw the controller out of mindless rage. And then of course 10 minutes later you're like "ah man why didn't I just turn this stupid a$$ game off!?" :lol

I had that when playing DOA 4... beating Alpha with the Spartan... the only decent move is kicking, otherwise... nothing... just.... nothing....... she moves..... fast.... nothing.... rage....building.... I beat her though... after 2 and a half hours of constant playing.

I can happily say that I have not suffered from Nerdrage since I was a teenager. As the years went by I've settled down and don't really get upset when I lose anymore. Sometimes I actually have more fun when a competition is heated. So I end up laughing more than anything else. But I do remember the days where I would bash my hand the controller and get massive bruises on them. I've also bashed my TV with my hand before because it wouldn't work well enough to display my games (It was a really old TV.)
