New 7 Wonders of the World

I think the newest thing to come out in our life times of phenomenal proportions is that we are going to be alive for the "New 7 Wonders of the World". I think this is quite a good thing though some of their options seem to be quite strange. For example, I do not think that the Sydney Opera House is on the same level as the Great Wall of China or Statue of Liberty is clearly not better than Stonehenge. I cant wait for the results to be announced.

FYI

The Current Seven Wonders of the World Are:

The Great Pyramid of Giza
Healing Gardens of Babylon [Destroyed by Earthquake]
Temple of Artemis at Ephesus [Destroyed by Fire]
Statue of Zeus at Olympia [Destroyed by Fire]
Mausoleum of Mausssollos at Halicarnassus [Destroyed by Earthquake]
Colossus at Rhodes [Destroyed by Earthquake]
Lighthouse of Alexandria [Destroyed by Earthquake]

Amazing how all of those were once in the Greek Empire (being that the Greek Empire spread down to Egypt for a time).

I've gotta say, after visiting the Parthenon on the Acropolis in Athens, the buildings of the time were phenomenal!

I'd think some things like the Hoover Dam, Mount Rushmore and the Saturn V (the first one of the series to take man to the moon if I remember correctly) should be considered "wonders."

By the way, I always though Andre the Giant was considered the 8th wonder of the world...at least, that's what Vince McMahon always told me :p
