Looks ok. I might go see it. This preview doesnt show much, I think.
 
hm.... I don't know... I am very skeptical about this.

BTW... they were using some SFX from Starcraft in that trailer.

Im skeptical also. But Ill give it the benefit of the doubt because its a crappy trailer in my opinion.
 
Look, the Doom movie will suck. Horribly. The Rock can't act aand Karl Urban got lucky by getting on with Lord of the Rings. Most video game movies suck anyways. But, the main reason this movie will suck is it is a rip-off of Resident Evil, with Doom as the title.

I dont think its going to be great but I dont think it will suck bad. I dont know we'll see.
 
Similar? It is a Resident Evil CLONE! No demons, no space marines, no Mars, no Deimos or Phoebos. You have mutants created by a virus, being put down by a quasi-futuristic SWAT team. Wow, sounds like Resident Evil.
 
they can't have a doom movie without Mars, Deimos, or Phoebos... come on now :lol

Yes, as I said, this is a Resident Evil rip-off.

They moved it to Mars, good. But it was going to take place on some weird planet.

But it is a Resident Evil rip-off at heart. They are missing the key elements of Doom's story. Those elements being

Scientists from the UAC on Mars' moons were messing around with teleportation technology. They then accidentally opened up a portal to Hell. The demons poured through killing pretty much everyone.
