Not a huge difference, I know, but to me they still look nice. I dont like where they moved the Start and Select buttons. That's my only gripe. The screen is also brighter which is always good.
 
Yea, if there's no new material or anything special about it to make it run a special way, I don't see what's so special.
 
Like, other than the sleek new design, I don't see anything else really special. Is that just it? The new design?

I'm not bashing on it. By all means, if you don't have a DS, then you'd prolly want to go with this new design. I just didn't get if there was anything superior about the Lite.

The only actual upgrade is the brightness of the screen. Usually when a console or handheld gets a redesign it's to cut cost and make them cheaper. But Im not sure if the DS Lite is going to be cheaper.
