I win, play the games. Some of the finest games on the Playstation 2.

Will do. Which is the best one in the series? {I had Sands of Time for xbox but never got around to playing it, so it got sold}

You..win? What are we..4? :lol

I don't have to play the game to know what to do in them or how they control. I knew everything I was doing in Assassin's Creed before I even got the game because of the instructional videos. Much like the instructional videos I watched on the original Prince of Persia when I contemplated buying it. ;)

Sands of Time and The Two Thrones, Warrior Within isn't very good at all, but the other ones are awesome.

Wow, you guys give quite contrasting opinions on these games! Like I said I never played them, but what looks appealing to me is the level design, enemy design and the platforming {again, just going off what I have seen in mags/websites}. Guess I'll just have to pick them up and see for myself :P

Hmm, sure wasn't for me with SSBM and Assassin's Creed.
Well look at it this way. If you're simply wathcing the game being played can you feel how good the controls are? Can you tell how you're doing, and exactly what you're doing? Can you really enjoy the game's atmosphere?

Mass Effect is a perfect example of this. The game was incredibly boring to watch. So many things about the game simply had to be experienced to be understood.

It's the same thing with many other games. You can't simply assume things about them unless you really play them.

I guess you and I are different..I watched a friend of mine play Mass Effect and didn't feel the need to try it because I already knew what it was like and how it controlled.

Ok let's take a game like Street Fighter 3rd Strike if you watch a match or maybe a gameplay video, do you seriously think you know what the game feels like to control or at least know how it does control?

It wouldn't work with some genre's of course.

Then frankly, you judged it before you had any right to. Games are meant to be played, not watched. It's like watching a play, then watching its movie adaptation. They're far different things.
