I wasn't necessarily talking about genres. It's more about how a game may look simple but in fact the game may actually be more complex than you think. Take DoA for example it's the same genre as Street Fighter but, it's one of the most simplistic fighters around and watching a single match can make anyone know the controls while Street Fighter has that complex issue.

Mass Effect is a perfect example of this. The game was incredibly boring to watch. So many things about the game simply had to be experienced to be understood.

I do agree with this. Another prime example would be KOTOR. That game is hella boring to watch, but in reality it's one of the best games ever made. My buddy will not play KOTOR because he watched me play it and he thinks it would be boring. Very frustrating to say the least!

I would take that serious if you were someone important.

Ok, so I said gameplay when I meant instructional. Deal with it. And that thing with Hines..kinda helps my point. Thanks.

i agree with you, sands of time was annoying, warrior withing was good but the music was kinda annoying, and two thrones is the best of the series.

and strubes....you were wrong, get over it
 
I still agree with Cherry...One should never judge a game before playing it yourself! But yea, this is going too far now as usual so I guess we should just stop now ::)
