New Silver PS2 System

I've seen it, it looks so sick sleak man! It's tempting, but I just don't know and the fact it's for a limited time only...makes me wanna get a PS2 again
 
I have seriously considered picking up a PS2 recently, and especially with the new Silver version out, but with the PS3 approaching I am not sure how long the lifespan of the system is going to be.

I would have to say, just like the PS1, it'll have another year then die out, yet that doesn't stop the publishers for making games. Only reason to keep a PS2 is to play your PS1 games if you have any, since Sony wants to charge you to download PS1 games on the PS3, since the PS3 cannot even read PS1 disc sadly.

Makes sense, because it would need 3 lasers to do that. PS2 has a sweet game library. Unlike this next generation of systems, you can be sure of the PS2's success ;D (Top seller baby!)

Not feelin' the silver. The black one may be a "dime a dozen", but it looks so much better in my opinion...
 
Why are they coming out with this when PS3 is basically here? It would suck if a parent or something got this and thought it was the PS3 for their kid. :lol "Mom..I already got a PS2!"

I like how clean it looks, clean and slick. What's up with that other controller? Looks like a retarded boomerang. I hate when other companies and stuff make controllers, memory card, etc. make it look cheap, like a generic brand. :lol

Your guess is as good as mine. Sony also just put out a pink PSP and PS2 as well..No interest in those, however :lol

Pink one? Any pics laying around online for proof? Whats the whole point in getting different colors of consoles anyways? I mean its not gonna change the fact that its a PS2 or whatever.

They have a Pink PS2 and PSP. I saw it on Game Pro. I think the Pink PSP comes with Pink's New Music on it or something. Only available in Europe. I will look for the pic's.
