Um, that article is from 2008. I highly doubt that information is still relevant.

And to answer your question, I will wait and see first before I buy another Nintendo console.

while i doubt that information is accurate, i will definitely buy Nintendo's next console.
 
The article is slightly out of date, but it was made by John Davison, who is someone I trust in terms of future predictions and industry insider information. While there may not be a "new Wii" by 2011, persay, there may very well be some product that extends the Wii's functionality 2011. I would guess some sort of 3DS peripheral connectivity BS, but all bets are off until after E3.
