New Years Resolution: Lose weight, Eat healthier, Workout more

Yeah, yeah. One of the most common New Years Resolutions, I know. But do you actually follow them?

Reply by putting what your New Years resolution is and if you've been following it or not.

For me, losing weight (well actually gaining...since muscle weighs more than fat) , eating healthier, and working out more started earlier this evening. I helped my good friend across the hall move his weight bench and free weights into his second room today and instantly kicked off a great routine down at the gym, followed by a trip to the sauna and jucuzi and a nice whey protein shake. Tomorrow (since it was too late to start using free weights) we start using the free weights and go grocery shopping for some good quality healthy food.

my new years revolution is to weigh 110 pounds i weigh 115 now haha but yes 50% of the people who make a revolution stop it after a moutnth or to :] im still going thought i mean i havent had junk food since yester day hahaha

It's a good starting point for me. Start at the beginning of the year and see where you are at the end of the year. I do it simply cause I can never pass up tradition. That's just me though.

I have no new years resolution. But I am going to start on my projects. I'm gonna build my tool shop and then start getting parts for my car.

Well, I always monitor what I eat and if I eat anything calorie loaded then I deduct that off my day's alottment and I eat high fiber and super low fat.

I dance to music every day, and I am not overweight at all. So, I got all that stuff down pat and I have excellent self control in this area.

I think the thing that I need to work on is to not beat myself up about stuff, and to be more easy going on myself about whatever I do or think or whatever.

I am mainly trying to be super nice to people and granting as many people unconditional acceptance as I can. Now this is a real challenge, but so far it is going good....So I feel happy.

I am not making any New Years Resolution though. I am trying to relax and not be uptight. I am gonna try to listen to a bunch of Marilyn Manson, Type O Negative and NIN CD's and maybe more Korn. That can be my New Years Resolution. I was always taught that I couldn't listen to that stuff, so I guess I am going to make a New Years Resolution to rebel a bit. Ha.

Just not tooo much ;-) It can be a downer.

Ya, I know. But I don't listen to any of the sucidal or depressing songs. I usually only listen to like two songs off of an album....over and over.

I have been listening to my Christian Punk Rock cd's, and the other stuff I am listening to I am just renting through the library, and do not intend to buy any of it.

When I buy stuff, I generally try to buy happy stuff, cuz I know I get sucked into my music.

you should try listening to some Children of Bodom the lyrics might not always be the most friendly but the music is more of an upbeat Metal
