Ninja Gaiden 2 Rumored for 360!

I never bought it but I played the demo. It was always near the top of my "must buy" list, but lacking any sort of XBL multiplayer or co-op pushed it back down.

That being said, NG2 needs some form of multiplayer or co-op.

I actually enjoy a good single player game...then again...multiplayer coop would be a welcome edition. The game's really hard anyways.

I've heard Ninja Gaiden 2 is supposed to have more back story on DOATEC and Helena Douglas (from the DOA fighting series). If that's true I would be excited. Helena's my fav DOA character. :)

Rumored Ninja Gaiden 2 Pics Leaked

http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/11/rumor-ninja-gaiden-2-images-leaked-on-xbox-japan-site/

Reportedly originating from a now yanked page on the official Japanese Xbox 360 site, several gloriously violent images depicting what appears to be Ninja Gaiden 2 have been preserved at dutch site Gamed.nl. While we await confirmation (or debilitating denial) from Microsoft, be sure to gaze lovingly at what could be Tecmo's long-awaited ninja kill-em-up sequel. With our analysis failing to detect any familiar content, we're fairly certain this isn't yet another remake of the original Xbox classic in the vein of Ninja Gaiden Omega Beta Orange.

What will evoke familiar responses, however, is the sheer number of severed limbs featured in the screenshots. You'll spot flying heads, arms, feet, torsos and more blood than you ever thought the human body could hold. Perhaps this is the "brutally fun" activity the American Xbox site is hiding behind a countdown.

I agree with Joystiq on this, that the pic looks legit. If it is, it looks really cool. :D

Team Ninja is actually taking suggestions for what to have as Achievements in Ninja Gaiden 2.

http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/845/845540p1.html

UK, January 15, 2008 - Team Ninja has put its ears to the ground and is listening out for ideas for unlockable achievements in Ninja Gaiden 2, the forthcoming instalment in their bloodlust saga on the Xbox 360.

The suggestions are being fielded at gamerscoreblog.com, the official Microsoft site, and currently run the full gamut from the predictable to the wildly original. Given the game's director Tomonobu Itagaki's predilection for all things mammary there's a fair amount of smut being bandied around as well.

*prays for it to be harder*

we need hard games again.

Like there aren't hard games? ::)

I'd like to enjoy Ninja Gaiden 2 but if it's as difficult as NGB was (even on Ninja Dog), I'm not even going to bother.

It's one thing for a game to be hard, but if it's frustrating, then it's not fun to play, even if it is a great game.

how bout having it hard on any difficulty instead of the hardest. Compare the difficulty standards of today and yesteryear and there you will see a difference.

EDIT: U make me chuckle everytime u say I think retro=hardcore.

lmao, Wow. So you're saying that he thinks retro=hardcore, based on the fact that he wants games to be harder? That comparison totally made sense. :lol
