well... you have about 50-70 regular posters here, 40 post frequently (at least once every couple days)/...etc
Even at very large message boards, you'd have trouble getting people hopping on the cause.
We tried a bunch of petitions to get Metal Slug to the Game Cube. I even talked with a few presidents of gaming companies to get it to work (no.. it's not that big of a deal, their email is public... they were cool enough to talk things out). I think we got a max of 300-500 signatures (couldn't remember)... and it still didn't do anything.
I always say try...it never hurts.... but when people don't jump to, don't get frustrated.
Hey... we've been a decent message board since 2001. When we moved from Ezboard forums to the forums hosted on our own domain.... it didn't take off till mid last year (from early 2004). It took a lot of time, patience.... working though the days when we only had 15-30 posts per day (yes, look at the more stats below... you'll see that last year quite a few times.) Now, we are finally starting to take off... a little. We still have a long way to go, and I am personally not done molding the site. It's still rough, but its working for now.
So, don't get discouraged... keep trying. But, remember... where you post, participate in other threads. No one listens to someone that comes and posts once at a forum
That, and don't nag the people... or they won't listen.
