I know. lol, I do see your point, but haven't Sony been around alot longer? And Nintendo haven't changed their logo's (despite where they were or what time) ever since now. And wasn't their reason to keep up with the present day market of their other Nintendo products? It just doesn't seem like a good reason.
There's nothing wrong with changing a logo, but still, this is Nintendo, and the colour is recognisable among the world. That shape, that font, and that colour, have set the box label for tons of games! Why alter it now just to fit with he colour of the other logo's? Is it not good to be unique?
