Nintendo DS LAN Network?

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
How does that work? According to their offical site, It's already installed in the system and you can play against anyone via a network regardless of how far they are?

You need to have a wireless lan system in place. Once you have that then your DS can use your router to contact other DS players who have done the same.
 
Well I heard that sometime in September you'll be able to buy some type of special software, that will do exactly as you described. It's totally free service (to first party Nintendo titles they claim) Which won't be too shabby, since a majority of the really great titles will be from Nintendo and other companies
 
Nintendo's website says yes, then I picked up a flyer and says "Software needed-Coming soon"

So I don't know who to believe at this rate. Some say you can now or some say you can't now. :?
 
well.. want to try since you have a DS?

I have zoo Keeper, Urban Asphalt GT, and Super Mario 64.

So is this for sure ? I think it would be sweet playing Mario Kart online against people from the boards :)

Yes and they are coming out with some type of special card for your computer that turns your regular internet connection wireless.

Yes you did. Its for those who dont have wireless access already. That way they dont have to buy a wirless router and wireless ethernet cards.

The whole wireless internet stuff for the DS is one reason I want it so bad. I need to get a wireless set up at my house, but some of my friends have it.
