yah they have screen protectors for every over gameboy so im pretty sure they will have them for the micro

Do they NEED smaller than the SP? No, not really in my opinion. My SP is the size of my wallet when folded...

I don't see the point. If people pocket that, the screen is going to get torn up, scratched up, marred horribly...

*shrug* I'm not that excited about it. It doesn't seem to be bringing anything new to the table.

It's not for most of us. They aren't aiming the GB Micro at the early adopters, the hard core gamers, the handheld gamers, etc.

The Micro is aimed at people who want to game because it's cool now, who are probably the same people that got Ipods because they were cool. The GB Micro looks as stylish as an Ipod.

Well I have been reading some articles on the Micro and I think its pretty neat. If it is under $100 I will probably get it.
Even though I have like every Gameboy and Gameboy advance, I still want it. :D

Man, I can't wait to see what Nintendo does with the DS. "Look, the DS now has an adjustable screen size (or some other random change)! BUY THE NEW DS SP NOW! THE DS IS NOW .8" THINNER! BUY THE DS MICRO NOW!

I reckon it's to try and spread the Gameboy to a wider audience, I think girls will like the micro more, I know my girlfriend does, and I think the customization feature will sell alot.

Lol Spartan. That be true... it seems as if Nintendo can't bash Sequelitis on its consoles as well. :o Wonder how many DS consoles we will see...

You must make quite a bit of money, it's twice as thick as my wallet.

I think the SP was a fine size for a portable game, Im really interested to see the micro in real life. I dont know if its size will be more or less fun to play.
 
The SP was totally fine. It was more compact than the GBA, played the same games, had a backlit screen (best improvement IMO), and the clamshell design made scratches a much smaller problem.

This seems to be a smaller GBA with a backlit screen.
 
I saw the Game Boy Micro for the first time today, and must say I wasn't interested. For $100 you get a way smaller screen than the GBA (it seems) and even smaller than the DS. I guess the up side is that it came with different shells to customize the Micro.

But like I said, it's just didn't blow my skirt up. :-\
 
The Micro seems like a bad deal... For like $30 you could get a DS which can play GBA games anyways.

But, I will give it this. You could play one, in public, without looking idiotic.

But if you already have a GBA, or GBA SP or want a DS, this seems like overkill.

Explain this to me. Because I have never seen anyone look idiotic for playing any handheld in public before. In fact, it seems that when I play my old school ones, I get people coming up to check it out.

Idiotic? I guess to you it does. It looks fine to me. But Im also one of those people who dont care what people think of me, so I guess thats why.
