In short, through a collaboration with Fujifilm, Japanese Wii users can order up prints of their digital photos – accessed via the console's SD slot, of course – along with special photo books for ¥1,575 ($14.71), super deluxe Mario-flavored photo books for ¥2,480 ($23.16), or meishi (think Japanese business cards) sporting the user's very own Mii, available at ¥500 per 30 cards.

sounds like a cool feature but a little expensive, i know my family members would love to use it, though i hope it is released in the west someday

This sounds like a fabulous feature. Fujifilm was one of my preferred companies for film so this partnership should definitely help in Nintendo's overall goal of innocation and making it a family type console.

Well this is a cool feature for the Wii but it is already a "family" console that is why in most gamers eyes Nintendo is still 3rd best in the console war. It has been 3rd best for years and years cause of the way it went almost all together into E rated games with the Gamecube and the Gameboys. Nintendo was tied in my opinion with Sony when the 64 was out cause they had so many different games and different rated games but then the Gamecube came out and they started what seemed like a total shift in what was to be made for the console. Don't get me wrong they did make some good M rated games for the Gamecube but their biggest draw was still kids games.

M rating =/= good game.

I'm not sure what that means but Nintendo will always be 3rd for now on, I just don't ever see that changing. I own a Wii but only got 2 games for it but my gf loves it like crazy and she isn't a gamer at all. So the Wii is a casual gamers console and a kids console plain and simple. Why would I ever buy a game on the Wii? Unless I wanted a E rated game! I got my Wii simply for Zelda and Mario.
Ok going to mod this post a little. The Wii is also a console for RPG lovers since it does have some good ones from what I have seen.

well acording to sales the wii is number 1, so yeah it might be third in the opinion of others but the fact remains, it's very successful in sales.

there's M rated games on the wii you know??? and not all of them are E rated =/, but then again who really cares about the rating of a game, i mean even M rated games can be crappy and so can be E/T.

The original issue that we brought up wasnt really about the rating of the game but that Nintendo has been forming itself into this family entertainment of a system and with these additional features and such and other offers being made that it is being more and more modified into the end all family fun production that everyone can enjoy. Sure Nintendo made M-Rated games but it will never abandon its image of being a console that has a MAJORITY of games that can be enjoyed by every member of the family.

You are right about sales of the consoles but I'm curious as to which console sells the most games? You are also right about the games rating systems. There are lots of crappy M rated games out there thats for sure but I'm talking about the sheer number of them on the Wii not the amount of good or bad ones. Maybe I'm just byist cause I am a big War game fan and Nintendo doesn't release that many good ones. Even you have to admit that the amount of bloody, violent games (the fun ones) is very slim on the Wii. Resident Evil being a exception to this of course and Manhunt 2 was just a watered down version of the original and didn't even have the graphic executions on the game as the first one, it was censored.
I don't know, does Nintendo censor their developers from making graphically violent games like that even if they are just M rated and not AO rated?
I am getting off topic here but this is a good discussion we have going on.

no nintendo doesn't sensor their developers, i mean no more heroes was released and it was extremely filled with gore XD, in fact nintendo is working with tecmo and grasshopper to make fatal frame IV for the wii, so i think they are really trying to make some mature Rated games for the audience (even if their E3 conference was horrible)

manhunt 2 was watered down because neither nintendo nor sony would accept an AO rated game on their consoles and UK even banned the game, so is not one of those "ohh nintendo doesn't want M rated games on their consoles" they actually don't care but because people are closed minded these days very few developers want to make M rated games on nintendo console, however those who have tried have got good success (resident evil 4 for example)
