What's the upper advantage? This classic controller can play GameCube games finally, unlike the original and has two more additional shoulder buttons (Hey it's a PS controller now with handles!)

Yes, I know, do we really need another?? But this sloves alot of problems by trying to find a decent GameCube controller if you need one! Maybe it'll add RUMBLE to Zelda OoT hopefully!!

No plans to release this controller in America, says Nintendo.

Looks like it was spotted at E3.

What's funny is that it has the exact same amount of buttons as the original Classic Controller, some of them are just in different spots.

Well out of all the places in the world, a small mom and pop store in the middle of Waco, Texas actually has these badboys in stock straight from Japan for $29.99.

Was Mega on the scene? you BETCHA!

TA DA :D I'm gonna dig deep into this controller and be back with a mini-review :D

Alright after testing for an hour. Here's my results:

I love the light weight and design, the ZR and ZL triggers in the back are much more noticeable instead of the itty bitty buttons from the original. The analog sticks being further apart from each other, makes it easier on your hands so you will not feel as cramped.

1.) tested Super SF2 SNES with it and the back ZL and ZR buttons cannot be used
2.) Super Mario 64 feels MUCH better, where the ZR and ZL can act as the "Z button" I can pull off jumps quicker since I have the grip on it, which make you feel like you're holding an N64 controller instead of a tiny piece of plastic.
3.) Star Fox 64. Perfect, but you cannot use ZL/ZR to do a turn or a BARREL ROLL! :(
4) Sin and Punishment. This was the biggest shocker out of the testing. It actually increased my performance in the game GREATLY. I got the grip I need to hold the controller like it should, ZR/ZL do the jumping, the right analog stick is perfect so I can aim, the D-pad is comfy and helps me maneuver out of danger, the L button controls my firing. I think this could have been the reason why Nintendo created the Pro controller for Japan.
5) Final test, when the controller was announced. Many claimed it can be used to play GameCube games without the need of a real GameCube controller. Results? WRONG. It's still a classic controller in this shape and form and you STILL need a GameCube controller to play any GameCube game. This was due to an firmware update patch that blocked it out. Shame on you Nintendo!

Final verdict? If you get a hold of one of these babies, you will never touch a normal classic controller again.

8 out of 10 by far. Comfort is finally there, but lack of rumble and I can't use this as an easier Wavebird controller hurts the score.
