No Wii? Too bad.

Nintendo brags about how many Wii's they sell to the stores, not about who buys it from the stores. They're definitely messing up. I know it's not 8 Wii's per store, per week, because the Gamestop by my place gets 3 in every other week.

I said usually. Around me, the store's ad says like 'Eight minimum' and all that stuff.

GameStop's always had crappy allocation though. I remember getting pissed because we would go an entire month without getting any, and then we'd hear about Best Buy getting in like 50 systems.

Yeah, I hate best buy. Ever since I worked there. :lol

They put them in the back and hide them...then the people in the back call their friends to pick them up.

Isn't that how you got yours?

A good friend of mine is a manager at Gamestop...I know he doesn't do that for everyone, so at least people can buy Wii's. The same can't be said about Best Buy. >:(

Okay, you just said that friends of workers are not considered people. Lol.

Lol I think you read into that wrong.

Gamestop lets people buy their Wii's when they get them in stock.

Best Buy holds them for their friends. :p

NO THEY ARE NOT! :lol

Once the Wii shortage stops though, along with some amazing games Nintendo is working on, they should have no problems.

Conspiracy theory time... :D

What if they are slowing production in order to deplete stock because they are getting ready to release a Wii on steroids?

Think about it. People complained that the Wii has a horrible online capabability. Well, compared to the 360 they do. Heck, even compared to the PS3!! Graphics are seen as last gen quality. Games right now are seen as gimmicky and shallow.

Now if they reintroduce the Wii that's better, they can improve the graphics quality, streamline their online gameplay, and make more people happy. Of course the people who would be the most upset will be the ones who have already purchased the Wii. But that's what happens when technology gets better... ::)

yeah like the ones who bought the ps3 without the new controler? or 80GB?

also i play on-line super mario strikers:charged and it goes really fast. graphics are a little better than last gen games, and graphics don't make the game good anyway. as for games being shallow, just the minigame ones.
