i hope they have the chiansaw battles.....i was too easy to get a chainsaw kill and also to get killed by a chainsaw..


If you both have your lancer out and you both press B at the same time you go in to this mode where who ever presses B the fastest wins..............or something along the lines like that.

GamesRadar has a sort of Gears of War 2 roundtable up. (Note: There is some cussing in the article at the end)

Some of my favorite parts:

Four player co-op? Better be. Halo gave it to us with two blah-y characters we'd never heard of. With Gears, we know and (somewhat) care about these four guys. Let's have four-player, please.

I really hope they do four player co-op for Gears 2.

Am I the only one who thought the teaser was quite lame? Ooh, he's killing a locust, big deal., you can see that in GoW1. I just thought it was really lackluster.

The fact that they even announced the game was the special thing.

Was no one seriously expecting this to happen. The game did sell quite well and games that do that will most likely get a sequel. just how I expected there to be a Fable 2 before it was even announced. Nowe the Fable 2 trailer owns the snuff out of the GoW2 trailer.

Ok, yeah, Fable 2 looks awesome, but don't start Gears bashing. We honestly don't want to hear it.

And about the announcement thing, we have just been waiting for a while for it, and are happy that it exists.

I have to agree with you. I was expecting more. I guess I'll be pleasantly surprised when it arrives.

No, I mean I've definitely seen better teasers. It's like Hines said, the announcement of it was enough.

But, the chainsaw duel was pretty cool, especially when it was flipped and Marcus tore through the Locust. If you can do something like that in the game, it would be pretty cool.

I think Gears of War 2 really needs to do something different, either in core gameplay or level design, for it to compete with the likes of Halo 3 and CoD4. I have tried going back and playing Gears and the level of intensity just isn't there. Gears seems slow paced and even boring at times, which is a horrible testament to how ADD videogames are making me. But mental disorders notwithstanding, there are games out there that satisfy my incredibly short attention span, so Gears 2 has to respond.

Yea that was one of the complaints I had with the first Gears. The only time it was fun to watch also was at the world finals of The World Cyber Games when some commentator named Blaze made every more fun the way he spoke. In the multiplayer they should add more in co-op and allow more people for online cause the way they have it is too small and slow.

What do u want i the FIRST trailer gameplay...i mean come on they probley havnent even started gameplay yet.

Seeing as it comes out in November they probably have the gameplay done or near completion.

Yeah, I read an interview with the guy who does the voice of Marcus Fenix, and he said he has already played a level of the game. It was on IGN.
