Looks great! I still wish they'd show us just how much damage you can do to the environment. They always stop the videos and/or move the view a bit (in all clips I've seen) to cover those parts up.

Yeah, but in Bad Company 2 you couldn't demolish buildings (or anything) completely, and the special effects were simple. What me and my brother want is (practically) complete realism. And so far I think that's what we're getting. But I'm just skeptical because the videos always stop when you would see it.

The vehicles are SO DETAILED! Like, the car they're driving has its hood flopping around in the wind. So cool.

Video games are getting so detailed down to the dust in the lighting, and this game takes all those other games and tells them to shove off in detail.

Well, the beta supposedly begins today for those who had Medal of Honor. I only have one friend who actually bought that so I'm gonna see if he likes it later.

There are some locked Caspian Border servers and the passwords keep getting leaked, so I managed to get on one twice for about 5 minutes each. Got to fly a jet. Awesomeness! The map is huge and gorgeous and I cannot wait. (The password for most of the Caspian servers atm is "Appletini")
Rush mode and Operation Métro are fun, (I love the underground part of the map) but Conquest and Caspian Border is where it's at.

I've been playin the Beta quite a bit, and so far I'm really liking a lot of what I'm seeing for this game.
I like how the game seems to reward positioning and maneuvering strategy than twitch shooting skills. I like how if you get shot, you're dead. I like how the guns are a bit unwieldy and how suppression fire is a useful tactic when pin point accuracy is not possible. I like how the game manages to keep a "front" between attacking and defending forces, instead of players from both teams scattered about a map.
I really think they're making a lot of excellent choices to make the game feel like an actual "battlefield" between two military forces. Some rough edges, for sure, but it seems like a lot of the core concepts are serving their purpose well.
This is shaping up to be my kind of FPS.

From what I hear the 360 version is really buggy, so you should get it on PS3 instead.
