Nothing says, "Creep me out" like this adorable Little Sister action figure that was given exclusively to many game reviewer sites.

So the PC edition REQUIRES you to use Windows Live to SAVE, to fricken save the single player. I was like alright, I give in. Go to get my Windows Live ID and Pass and it closes out of the game. I was sooooo pissed last night.

Yeah, I figured that out the hard way. When you told me of the deal and I looked below the Steam's "System Requirements". It points out you need Windows Live to access. The only good side to this, is if you're an Xbox Live user, you can get achievement points that will transfer over to your normal Xbox Live account. Yet if you hate paying for Xbox Live, then this really really sucks. :(

What the f? I am getting sick of this kinda crap in PC games. Honestly this is the kind of thing that hurts PC game more than anything.

It's Microsoft man, they want to take over.

That, and also that stupid secuROM that so many PC games use these days.

If you think that's stupid, look what else the PC Edition tries to do, not once, but TWICE now!

In August of 2007, BioShock caused an uproar among players for trimming the standard 4:3 aspect ratio instead of providing proper widescreen support. Now BioShock 2 PC does the same thing. Here we go again.

The exact same issue that had PC gamers fuming when the original BioShock was released has been confirmed to be an issue with BioShock 2 as well. Instead of giving players more screen real estate in 16:10 or 16:9 widescreen mode, as players expect, BioShock 2 takes the 4:3 aspect ratio and clips off the top and bottom, giving players with widescreen monitors less of a view of the action than those without. You can see the differences in the screens below, which were sent to us via ImageShack.

You honestly gotta wonder sometimes if there is a conspiracy amongst the industry to kill PC gaming completely :-\

If you click on the link again, you will hear what happened that night....all hell broke loose.

I am really disappointed in this one. If you remember back to when the first one came out I was very skeptical about it. I refused to play it until about 2 months after the hype died down. Ate my words on that one. Bioshock was a narrative landmark in gaming but, Bioshock 2 just doesn't hold up.

Really Frodus? Seriously? Because I'm loving the story. I REALLY was in doubt that the sequel wasn't going to pan out, felt it didn't deserve it. Yet I'm really happy it's building up. The prettier and richer details compared to the first is still breath taking imho.

Update: I will say this, the re-telling of the story is recycled, but I LOVE the way they do it!

Wow, what the hell? Windows Live sucks. I have nightmares about trying to use it to get Fallout 3 DLC. I guess this is the only way they can get any subscribers. >_>

It does look prettier but, it just doesn't capture the awe that the first Bioshock gives, and neither does the story. I really would have preferred it if the setting wasn't Rapture so it wouldn't feel as rehashed as it does.

I love Rapture no matter how many times the story is told. Yet, I can side with you, after you've seen Rapture once, lord knows you want to do it again. Yet bringing back that one girl was a nice surprise, but I will not mention her name. However, I noticed the game feels like Dead Space when you find the train doesn't it? You can't go back.

Now reports that all three versions have random freeze-ups during single player and multiplayer :( Patch needed badly..mine froze twice already.
