They need to take the bad parts out of the multiplayer (namely, 99.9% of the players under 15) and add good physics. There's three processing cores, they can easily use one of them for physics only and have fully interactive environments (destructable).

And Bungie kicked Gates in the teeth after he said they would release Halo 3 when PS3 launches by saying they'll release it when they're good and ready to do so.

They should release Halo 3 when its done and ready. Seing how it will probably be the last in the series, I want Bungie to pull out all the stops for this game. How about fully destructable environments. Different playable Covenant classes for multiplayer. More custumization for Online play. More Online Gametypes. A single player campaign that takes more than 2 hours to beat, and has multiple endings. Halo 1&2 should be included. A difficulty harder than Legendary. More command based gameplay for your troops. Smarter troops. More veichles and weapons that are different instead of the same. 4 Player Online Co Op. No glitches, and no cheaters online. And more open ended gamplay, like being able to steal weapons from enemys or use enemys as shields. And finally unmask the Master Chief.

Ok I thought of something. If you've read the Halo books you'll understand. They need to bring back Kelly (aka Spartan087) and explain what happened with that! :D

But seriously, I would like Halo 3 to include some of the characters from the book that are still alive. I think it would be cool if you could choose between playing as Master Chief or playing as Kelly. And was Linda still alive? I can't remember.

John, Fred, Kelly, Linda, and Will. Kelly is with the good doctor Halsey headed to parts unknown. I forget where the others are.

Do you think this is too early or should they spend more time on it???

well... how long have they been working on it?

is it going to be more of a rehash.... or lots of new stuff? If they are going to use many of the same things, engines, characters...etc.... then there probably won't be that much to spend time on.... but if they are overhauling it, then it would take a lot longer.

It just depends on what they are doing.

I can't really check right now cause I'm at school. I will check it out when I get home though. With the 360 I'd expect them to spend a butt load of time on this game.

How long has it been since Halo 2? 2 years? It looks like it's actually on track, unless they are completely starting from scratch, which I doubt they are.. Plus they dont have to release it in June, maybe they'll push it back once or twice.

Not only that but June seems realistic. First off, they already have the main part of the game down which is the multiplayer aspect with XBL. All they really need to work on is the campaign mode and add a few extras. That shouldn't take too long to do.

I was hoping for one of two things...1.A completely new game where you controll a general or something...IE "Halo 3:tactics".....not going to happen i know....2.A blend of the first and second game with a one player game

A game that has not even been announced!
