Madre de behos! I'm so sick of having to wait. I have a ton of secondhand hype. Not to mention, I have so much stuff I want for my 360.

You can have it either way, but even if you have it on team, it still adds up YOUR INDIVIDUAL score and that's what you get the achievement for.  So it's best to use FFA when going for the achievements so you know just how much everyone has.

I only have 14 or so more wins I think before I'm a captain.  I haven't been on much cause I've been out of town and just busy with work and school.

EDIT: My cousin and I got the elephant to fly without landing. :) I'll probably post a clip on my fileshare or post some pictures in teh picture topic in the next few days.
 
I really need to buy more slots on my file share. Between awesome film clips and screenshots, those 6 spots go fast. I could really use the extra space!

Right now I just have film clips in mine since I generally post my fav screenshots here.

@ Strubes - Yeah, I haven't even bothered with the terminals yet. But I get the metagame stuff. Basically, when you are playing through the campaign, you can turn on metascoring, which scores you on your kills. It can be done solo or co-op, and you can change how much you get by activating skulls. Brute Chieftans are worth more than Grunts, for example. Headshots get you a bonus. I think grenade sticks also give a bonus, but I'm not sure. Also, you get more points the higher difficulty you have it set to. If you play on co-op you're not likely to score as high (because you are sharing kills) unless you have a few skulls activated to make the multiplier higher.
 
To get the Terminal achievement, do you have to replay the whole thing and get the terminals? Or can you do it the same way as most skulls and just play a level up to the terminal and then save and quit from there and have it still count?

Hella folks have said they found all the Terminals but they didn’t unlock the Marathon Man achievement. In addition to their being a slight hook to what you may consider “all the terminals” – that’s something you’ll have to figure out for yourselves, our test team did some extensive post-ship testing to see if the Achievement was working as intended. Here are some findings and the appropriate FAIL or WIN condition is listed, as well.

“I read all terminals through the first screen of text (after it’s been translated), then pressed B to back out before the hack point.” FAIL

“I read all terminals to the first screen after the hack point (where it says FRAGMENT X/Y at the top_ in order .” ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED

“I read the first a bunch of terminals in different gaming sessions, in order, reading each terminal past the hack point.” ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED

“I read the ‘last’ terminal first, then read three from one place and three more, all past the hack the point.” ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED

“I read one terminal on Heroic, some more terminals on normal and the rest of them on Legendary, power cycling my Xbox 360 before changing difficulty levels each time. This is a combination of different sessions, reading terminals out of order and on variable difficulties.” ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED

We’re still not talking about what they are or where they are, but in terms of the logistics of unlocking them, this should shed a little bit of light on the situation for those folks having trouble.

Ok, cool. I want to get that Achievement.

This week I am going to do ranked Team Slayer so I can try to get MVP.

I also need to get the Used Car Salesman one but I hear that one is easier to get in campaign.
 
Yeah used car salesman is really easy on campaign cause you just go on The Ark (I believe...) and there's a lot of situations when you have the tank and there's 3 man prowlers all over.
 
You know what sucks? I have been dropped from a few games because of lag, and now I have negative feedback because people said that I quit games. I never quit games. Even if I'm getting pwned hardcore, I tough it out and at least play until the game is over. It sucks that people think I quit when it was really just a bad connection. :nope

Last night my friend and I were playing Social Slayer, and I swear Bungie hated us, because we kept getting the same maps over and over, and if we vetoed a game because it was on the map we had just played, it would give us shotty snipers EVERY time. The last game we played was like that (game was Slayers on High Ground, and we vetoed and got shotty snipers on narrows), and in the lobby I was saying to my friend that it wasn't my fault we kept having bad luck with game types. I never talked trash (most of you who have played with me know that I cuss like a sailor, but I don't generally trash talk or insult the other players), and I did bad during the game because the battery on my controller died in the middle of it and I had to find my play and charge kit, so I ended up with only like 6 kills or something. Today I noticed one of my messages was from some guy and he was like "instead of talking smack little girl maybe you'll learn not to veto" or something of that nature. I was like O_O oh no he didn't. I totally don't get what he had against me that he sent that. Like seriously, I had 6 kills, and my team lost. I didn't pwn anyone, and I know I didn't do any trash talking.

I kind of wish people wouldn't take Halo so seriously that they have to hate on people who aren't as good as they are. I mean it's Social Slayer....if you're so awesome and it matters so much that you have a bunch of awesome people on your team, go play Ranked.
 
I used to have the same problem with lag and negative feedback, and that's one of the reasons I don't play social. People (most) act like idiots there. I tell people who b*tch and whine about how one person isn't doing so hot and stuff like that to go back to halo 2 where they belong and most of the time they shut up...

Ah well, you just can't let that stuff get to you. You don't know them, they don't know you.

It is kind of fun. There was one person who heard me and was like "Is that a girl?" and the first reply that came to mind was, "No, I'm a unicorn." I don't know why, but it seemed to work. No one said anything! :lol

I think mine might be glitched then, because I've played the Ark many many times in the tank and I still haven't gotten it. I thought you had to use a rocket launcher or otherwise do it yourself without the use of the tank.

Maybe I just didn't kill all three people on it, though. I might have to do try that again. ^_^

I really like Shotty Snipers, but after it gets vetoed, getting the same gametype always kinda sucks.

They really need to fix Ranked Team Doubles, though. Joyling and I were playing that today and we are both rank 1 in that, and we got put up against a rank 10 player in the first match we got. Second match was two rank 6s.
