I wouldn't put it past them. A $600 system that some guys son or daughter wants for his/her christmas. Parents will do anything.

It's way worse than the mom who died to win a Wii. I don't think the shooters were parents, though.

That's just one instance...a parent. This coulda been someone just getting it to be cool, or maybe he was in a gang, etc etc. When you have very short supply with high demand...especially when people have been taking off work to wait outside in a line, anger would undoubtedly boil over.

Oh darn, you skipped work on a Friday to get a PS3. I'd be angry at that.

You must not have heard....people camped out in tents for 3 - 4 days. That's alot of money when you're trying to support a family or pay bills.

Yes, I know, but if you preordered it, you'd get one, so you really didn't have to wait days and days. If you didn't preorder it, you wouldn't get one, so there would have been no point.

The people camping out didn't preorder one. There was only about 10 minutes on 1 day that you could preorder the PS3 so barely any were preordered. It's not like with Halo 3 where it's guaranteed.

Check the web...I will when I get home from work..lol there was only like...maybe not 10 minutes...but pretty much half an hour or so that you could preorder. It was nationwide.. You couldn't just walk in a Gamestop or anywhere and say "I'd like to preorder a PS3". The preordering started and ended so fast, that's why you prolly can't recall.

Oh, so the reason it was only ten minutes is because a) Sony hates money(looks this way now with sales) or b) Sony didn't want people to buy it(see a)

That and even if they did let it go longer, they wouldn't be able to meet the people's demands.

Well the stupid thing is that even though GameStop took a very limited amount of reserves, we still weren't able to fulfill all of them because Sony cut back the shipment. As I recall, they let us take 16 reserves on the PS3 but only sent us 8 systems for launch.
 
Halo 3 Beta Custom Game Glitch!!!!

There IS a way to do custom games on the Halo 3 Beta. For whatever reason, they left the custom games stuff in the beta.

I've never done the method (there's a more descriptive tutorial in the description), but I no it works cause I'm in a custom game lobby right now that my friends made.

In addition to that method on the video, I've also read somewhere that if you go into 2v2 with 5 people the 5th person gets kicked. Not sure if that's true at all.

Edit: If anybody wants to join me, my GT is DarkPhoenix157. I'm most likely gonna be in customs all night.

Lol I'm playing with the sword and magnum! :lol

Also, if you join somebody who is in a custom lobby and back out of it, you get your own lobby.

Then so does Microsoft and Nintendo. I pre-ordered my 360 6 Months in advance and still did not get it at launch and finally found it somewhere else and got my money back 2 months after launch. Sony and Nintendo followed suit and did not want this to happen to them and get bad press. Everyone seems to forget the crap Microsoft put us through on the launch of the 360. It is just business and Sony and Nintendo learned from that Microsoft error and I am sure none of them will do that again!
