@GamingMaiden...no problem. :) I kind of ran into this on accident late last night. :lol

@Homi...well it's no surprise noticing how much you don't like the Halo series. I figured I'd see something negative from you. Oh well. Just respect this thread and let the Halo fans be happy.

I think duel-wielding shotguns is going to be crazy! Also, the gravity hammer sounds awesome as well, sending a shock wave for area-damage. :D

You can only dual-wield the Brute shotgun (called the Mauler) though, not the regular shotgun. And they totally gimped the regular one by taking it from 12 shells down to 6.

Everything else sounds pretty cool, though. I can't wait to see all of them in action. :)

Yeah, the Brute Shotgun, but if they let you dual wield a regular shotgun...holy skizzle...that'd be so crazy. :lol

Yeah, but that could be why they gimped it; to make it more fair overall and keep the gameplay balanced. :)

Dual-wielding shotguns is going to be great for the game. Are they going to do the same with Halo Wars? They'd change the series for the better if they do.(even though they are already great.)

That's what I'm thinking. I'm kinda wondering what this 4th grenade is going to be.

@GamingMaiden....duel-wield shotguns in Halo Wars? I believe that's going to be a RTS game, so I doubt they'll have marines gearing up with duel-wielded shotguns. :lol

Halo Wars is RTS? O_O Thank you Strubes!(:lol) Yeah.....I doubt that with the marines also.

Haha it's ok. I'm kind of excited to use the Jackal shield...I wonder if you can duel wield that and a sword...that'd be insane. :lol

Sounds like a knight with shield and sword in the future.:lol Jackal Shield is going to be great in Halo 3.

It just seems like an expansion because they're just adding some new weapons and vehicles, although I have to say the Elephant sounds really cool.

An expansion is the same game with added content. Zero Hour was an expansion for Command and Conquer Generals, because it was the exact same game with added features. Oh, and expansion packs usually come out for the same system as the original game ::)

Key word there, exact.

Halo 3 of course has many things from Halo 2. But, as Strubes said, using your logic, every game is an expansion pack.

So you were probably wondering why we didn’t want to commit to two player co-op online over Xbox Live. We certainly got plenty of mail asking, no, demanding that we make it happen. Of course we were working on it, but we were also working on something better. Not two player co-op. Not three-player co-op, but up to four player co-op. Online. On Xbox Live, or sure, System Link if you prefer.

That is correct – up to four player co-op in Campaign mode on Xbox Live or System Link.

Oh, and I'm surprised you didn't point this out Mai... Bungie worked it so that the third and fourth players could be there (not violating canon) by making them both Elites.

Yeah, I noticed that. It's pretty interesting. I can see us fighting over who gets to be Master Chief, though. :lol
