I would expect the Flood in the game somewhere, so that's not a big spoiler. And he did say maybe the last two levels. Key word: maybe.

Yeah, maybe from Bungie, cause they probably released general info on the game, or he just guessed from the trailers maybe? That's not really a spoiler, saying that there may be Flood level.

I didn't hear anything about them. I just know (from E3 trailer 07) that the Chief will go to a Halo. The Flood are on the Halos, so it is logical to assume that you will fight the Flood. Plus, the Flood have an entry on Halo 3's website, basically confirming that they are in.

The reason I said the last two levels? I looked at the level names. Level 7 is The Last Stand, and that seems like it would be a good name for the last level on Earth.

These aren't spoilers, hines, I am just making educated guesses.

He's inferring using the info he has. He knows you start out on earth. He knows you go to a Ring World at some point, and that would logically come right after your on earth, and he knows the Flood have some part in the game, so he's guessing that they're coming at the end because that makes the mosts sense with the info we have.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Plus, the Flood is basically the reason why Halos were made, so I would expect them to be a sort of "Final Boss," so to speak.

Yeah, many are theorizing that The Last Stand has to do with that diorama (old man said it took place on the 7th day, 7th day - 7th level) and the diorama setting seems to match a last stand sort of scenario.

Yeah. Bungie said in an interview that a battle at the end of the third (I think) level has more allies and enemies fighting at one time than the total number of enemies in the entire first level of Halo 1. And, they stated that it isn't even the biggest battle in the game!

There is a Halo 3 General Discussion topic for a reason, and that reason is so that page one of the 360 section is not dominated by Halo 3 topics. If you are thinking of making a Halo 3 topic, please just add it to this one and save the moderators the trouble of merging it (which is what will inevitably happen anyway). :p
