Yeah, me too. But I'm not close to 20 in anything else. :( The closest is 14 in Team Slayer, but everyone who I play Halo 3 with is either in the 20s in Team Slayer or below 10, so when I play Team Slayer I'm usually horribly matched up against the enemies either way. But, I might try it anyway. ^_^
 
i know this is kind of off topic from the last few posts but im wondering if anybody has ideas for machinima (if you dont know what that is, look it up.) if i do use your idea i will credit you (in the video's credits) by your forum name or gamertag. if you want me to credit by gamertage please post it with your idea
 
Tonight Jaded and Mai were playing in Jaded's room, and I fell asleep on the floor.

Mai: *prods me with her toe* You can go to sleep, you know.
Me: I am sleeping just fine here.
Mai: You should take out your contacts.
Me: *sits up* Where's L.D.?
Jaded: What, she left a long time ago.
Me: ...How long was I asleep?
Jaded: Shh - like an hour.
Me: *looks at the TV* Then why are you still the same rank?
Jaded and Mai: *sweatdrop*

(For the record Jaded was lying to me. I was only asleep like 5 or 10 minutes.)

This Monday, July 7 is Bungie Day on Xbox Live Marketplace. What does that mean to you? Free stuff! The kind of free stuff that absolutely requires an exclamation point. While free gamerpics and a gratis theme will be available that day and that day only, it's the new map, Cold Storage, that will probably put the biggest strain on Live's servers.

The Bungie Weekly Update also points out that the Legendary Map Pack will see prices slashed, with the regularly 800 MS Points pack dropping to 600 MS Points. Community tough guy Luke Smith has all the details on what's goin' down this manic Monday, so do check out the newest update... and the "viddoc" link above.

By now you’ve hopefully read Sketch’s Humpday against the Wonder Triplets, you’ve probably seen some Cold Storage screenshots and checked out the overhead perspective of the map. That seems like pretty much par for the map reveal course and next week, we’ll have a Q&A with some of the mapmakers to commemorate Cold Storage’s release.

Cold Storage will be available for free beginning on July 7, Bungie Day, on Xbox Live Marketplace.

Additionally, don’t forget to grab the one-day-only free gamerpics and theme on 7/7.

Beginning on July 7, there will be a 48-hour long seven-player FFA playlist in Halo 3’s Matchmaking where you can turn the calendar back to 2001 and control Rockets, Invis and Snipe.

For now, Cold Storage will be implemented in regular rotation in playlists that require the Legendary Maps. To avoid confusion, playlists that previously required the Legendary Maps will now remind players that they need “all Maps” to participate, and since Cold Storage is free, it shouldn’t be a big deal for you to grab the map on July 7 and then return to your regularly scheduled business in SWAT.

Additionally, on 7/7, Microsoft is dropping the price of the Legendary Map Pack from 800 spacebucks to 600 spacebucks. That price drop does mean that purchases after 7/7 will no longer include the Bungie Pro bonus.

We’re trying to churn one last thing out today regarding Cold Storage, and we hope to have that for you folks later this afternoon. We’re just squeezing it through the download system this morning. If something cataclysmic happens and it doesn’t get out today, I’ll stop drinking beer and consuming grilled meats over the long weekend and get it up for ya’all.
 
My friend on xbox live says that Cold Storage is the WORST map idea EVER! I like the map but hes going somewhere i forgot, so i can play on that stage all i want without him bugging me about, "Dude thats the worst map ever stop playing on it!" so on. so yay!

Well, I don't particularly care for it, but I don't have a downright hatred towards it. Construct is still the worst, IMO.
 
Apparently the last time I played this game was April 4th, but the last matchmaking game is shown to be March 30th.

EDIT:
Heh, scratch that. Last matchmaking game on my console was the 11th of March, the 30th was a custom game, and the 4th of April was just one game, first campaign level, with a random guest.

First time I've played a Halo game in months was rushing through "The Maw" in Halo 1 last night on easy with a friend. Didn't miss the series at all, actually.

Well one thing I can say is that I have certainly kept playing Halo 3 longer than most of the other games listed; even Rock Band.

But most innovative? I'm not so sure about that.
