Official MLB 2010 Season Thread (Major League Baseball)

If Indiana had a baseball team, I would probably be more into the MLB.


However, I have always kinda loosely been a Braves fan. I used to go to sleep watching them on TBS, so they grew on me a bit. :)

Jason Heyward is a beast, the guy is going to be a great player. The Braves are not a bad team to root for. They might win the wildcard this year since I'm pretty sure those stupid Phillies are going to take the East.
 
First pitch at the new stadium in about 5 minutes!!! I'm all giddy like a little kid. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D
 
Yea man that sucks. It also sucks not having work and being only 10 minutes away from the game and really wishing I was there!

I just looked up your record. 5-2 is pretty damn good and in tied for first. Can't say the same about my Dodgers. We need to fire our pitching coach and pick up a better 5th starter.
 
If you guys don't win the Central, I'll be deeply disappointed.

On my side, we're still struggling but at least we finally won a series. Ethier is back at it and got a walk-off hit last night. I just wish he did it the night before when I was there.
 
So, a quarter of the season in (about 40 games) and we have some surprising twists. Padres in 1st place? Really? Glad my Dodgers swept them off their high horse and completely jumped over the rest of the West with the exception of San Diego and Sand Francisco.

8 Straight Wins and counting!!! Going to be at Dodger Stadium tomorrow to get my Triple-Crown leading Andre Ethier bobblehead. Hopefully it doesn't get rained out.
 
almost at the halfway point and my Dodgers are back in first with the best record in the NL.

About to head out to my 8th game of the season. In two weeks, those stinkin' Yankees. Going to be awesome!
