Official Recent Game Happenings Thread

Been playing Some BF3 and Resident Evil 5. Also played minecraft.

I got NSMBWU and its pretty fun. beat three worlds so far.

also got the new Walking Dead:Survival Instinct. I like it.

Started on LEGO City Undercover for the Wii U. It's pretty cool. The LEGO version of GTA, and it has some pretty good puzzles actually.

I also got up to level 10 in Tomb Raider multiplayer.

Playing the original FF7. I used to think this game was overrated, but honestly I haven't had this much fun gaming in a long time.

Finally got enough people together to play a bunch of the multiplayer games in Nintendoland. The Luigi's Mansion mini-game is definitely everyone's favorite, but we also enjoyed the Mario and Zelda ones as well.

The Zelda one is my personal Favorite.

I got a 3DS so I've been playing Cave Story and Ocarina of Time 3D.

I also beat RE5 and trying to beat RE6 while playing CNC

Tomb Raider on PS3. It's got some serious frame-rate problems, but is a damn good game.

I'm nearly to the end, but I called it a night finally. I think I'll easily finish it tomorrow. Great story, production values are amazing, and it's just a really, really, well made, and pretty polished game.

Playing Mario Kart 7 and Pokemon: Black

Got 3 characters unlocked and about to challenge my second gym.

Also been playing D2, bout to kill Andariel again.

BEING THAT, my Daughter has a PS3, I noticed that Walmart had Final Fantasy 13 for $15. I picked it up and a controller. I have HER permission to play my game on her system. ;)
I am enjoying the game and have noticed that there is not much exploring. It has more of a 3D platformer feel to it. There seems to be an increasing complexity to the battle system as you advance in the game. Good story involvement, kind of reminds me of the first Xenosaga. Lots of story telling with in-game video segments. Sort-of-like interactive anime. Haven't read any reviews so I do not know what the reception was for this. I have always liked FF gaming.
