er...no? I juat saids that I would, but now im on the comp as the opening video plays over and over again... Whys everything gotta be an argument?

I keep posting in this topic because, well, I did kinda create it.

Because having a topic saying "i lik ff10" over and over and over isn't that interesting?

It's ok, Boom's always been kinda weird. :lol

And...having a topic saying "I don't like ff10" over and over is? I know you're supposed to be the "sarcastic one" and all, but try and be more logical. :lol

But having both "I like" and "I don't like" spurs better conversations.

i think FFX was one of those games that some people LOVE IT and some people HATE IT

Because it never captured my interest? Because it's a bland game? 'Cause it didn't quite have the FF feel I got from earlier ones?

FFX

Lame characters (The fighter fights with...a ball? Since when do black mages use teddy bears?)

Super powered attacks that barely do more damage than normal ones (See: Bushido)

Lame story and plot twists (The main character didnt even exsistorz!!!! OMG!!!)

"Grid system" Which is nothing more than a longer method of conventional leveling-up

Non-skippable cutscenes (Not really annoying at first, but nothings more irritataing than losing a fight and having to see the same long-butt scene over and over)

That enough reasons for ya!?

Yes, much better. That's what I want to see. I disagree with most of those and you didn't really elaborate on any of those reasons, but it's cool to see some actual effort. ;D

And here's a few reasons why I like FFX. :)

Awesome and diverse characters. (Kimhari FTW!)

Amazing Limit attacks that throw you into an in-game cut-scene, allowing you to interact with how much damage you do and when. Also, when using the correct ones, they hit for an enormous amount of damage.

Unique, compelling, and fully-engaging story. SPOILER! (Sin = Jecht?! Awesome twist)

Grid system which allows for players to customize what each of their character's strong and weak points are.

Beautiful cut-scenes. Squaresoft did a superb job.

Enough reasons? :)

I also didnt like the linar-ness of it

Oh, and I also like how non-linear it is.

-Legendary weapons
-Side-quests
-Blitzball (unless you have a crappy team)
-Finding Jecht Spheres to help progress the story

FFX Pro's
-Awesome Story
-Cool characters {minus Wakka of course, lol}
-Decent voice overs
-Extremely fun and challenging side quests
-Graphics are top notch
-Soundtrack
-Cool combat system/gameplay

Con's
-Although the story is great, at times it kinda dragged on
-Grid system left a little to be desired
-Not much reason to play it again once you beat it.

One of my favorite PS2 games for sure. I used to diss this game because I thought the main character was a sissy, but I guess he kinda grew on me or something.
