i havent heard much talk about the online play for the wii, just that there will be online play for SSM:B, my question is: does anybody know if the online play of the wii will be as good as the x-box 360 and the PS3?

it has online, but its not like xbox live. xbox live is one giant server and network linking every game together, wiis online will be different. each game developer will have to create a dedicated server and network for each game, leading to lag. like always, nintendo is one step behind every one else, so it will be similarl to the ps2 online, except wireless

console online is different, nintendo hasnt created one big network, leading to a bigger cost to make them, which further leads to less online games being made. it also generates a big amount of lag. (socom 2, anyone?)
